Punjabi Tadka — Restaurant in London

I was very very disappointed with the service. I would not ever recommend this place to anyone. On Saturday 3rd Feb I went there in the evening with my hubby for a quiet evening meal. I am a pure vegetarian all my life. We ordered palak paner with roti and I was served gosh palak or some sort of non vegetarian. After 1 bit we realised the mistake but my religious beliefs and my life long service was broken on that day. The waiter seamed like a trainee who was completely unsure of what he was doing. When he came to take our orded he used a used-up tattered piece of paper to write down the order as well...they dont have any system like other restaurants with taking orders. He never even confirmed the final order of what he had written down and ran away. No tissues were provided either. I hav been to this place once before and the the waitress asked if we wanted spicy or mild and we chose mild but the food was so super super spicy but as my hubby liked their quiet atmosphere, we chose to go there. The owner is a absolute idiot. He loves overcharging , he just can't knock it out he's system. I, along with friends have visited this restaurant a few times after a few drinks in my local. Every single time there's an over charge on the bill, he probably assumes that we're all pi88ed and will not look at the bill in depth so therefore tries his luck by adding a good few extra Pounds on the bill. The lady who sings, who the owner claims is his wife is okay at singing, but she gets a bit too much. Some customers like a chat but with her blurring in your ears all night long is a little annoying. Anyhow, the food is okay and there's very limited parking around. My advise. Please double check your bill before paying and don't be afraid...

I very highly recommend people not to go to this resturant called Punjabi Tadka.. Their dishes are so horrible and served cold to the table.. Palak paneer was watery with little grated paneer.. Again cold and tasteless.. The dal makhani was a complete disaster.. Naals were like rubber..And not forgetting the staff as cold as their food and very rude.. The manger was even ruder than the staff.. Very down leved food with high leveled prices..simply avoid such places people with your hard earned money and your days out..enjoy elsewhere lots of nice...
