A Disappointing Experience at Rio’s Piri Piri tonight 31/03/25

I recently visited Rio’s Piri Piri and was extremely disappointed by the service I received. Upon placing my order, I was initially informed that only takeaway was available. Shortly after, this information was contradicted when a staff member stated that I could eat in, but only if I provided a review on there website. This was already off-putting, but the situation worsened when I overheard staff members gossiping about customers, implying that some people don't know how to eat. This lack of communication and unprofessional behavior among the staff created a deeply unpleasant atmosphere. It’s disheartening to witness such poor customer service and a clear lack of coordination among employees. As a result, I felt unwelcome and uncomfortable, which significantly detracted from the dining experience. I will not be returning to Rio’s Piri Piri in the future. Ive been going to Rios since they opened as i really like the chicken and sauce, its a really good fast food and very tasty every time. Last time I went I ate on one of the tables, I finished my meal of which i enjoyed as usual. I accidently put my red plastic basket in the bin, the young female tried to stop me but unfortunately she didnt catch me in time and i threw the red plastic basket in the bin, i did feel bad and apologised straight away but i was not prepared to rummage through the bin to find it as it went too deep. FOOD RATING 1 Star Rating, but If I was there, I would have given 0 Star Rating. I have visited to "Rio's Piri Piri in Croydon" - located at 46 High St, Croydon CR0 1YB sometime last week. When I was trying to make the food order for takeaway I found the kitchen was awful and dirty. There is no difference in kitchen staff and front staff as everyone seems to be doing everything without cap or hairnet or gloves Hence I asked the member of staff what is their Food Hygiene rating as I could not see a sticker on the door or anywhere inside their shop. Staff member ignored me first and keen on taking my order and when I insisted denied knowing anything about the rating. I made sure he can ask who knows about it.
