The food, the staff and the service was great during our visit last night.
I have read the previous reviews in here and I am confused why some people give anything less than five stars review if there is no real reason to leave a nonconstructive review.
I do not feel people should leave bad reviews if they do not read the terms of the coupons/vouchers they bring to get discounts. The bad review is not fair if you did not bother reading the terms of the voucher and on top you did not confirm with the members of staff to what you were entitled with the voucher before you sat at the table.
I am not sure how people can be intentionally so negative with their reviews about one type of meat or that the place serves meat in the first place.
This place is a buffet with many types of meat all of them with different types of preparation and they all taste different, if there is a type we do not like, we do not have to eat it. We should ask the waiter for the type of meat we like and if it is available.
I would suggest that if you do not know Brazilian dishes or meats, we did not have a clue; please ask the waiter for advice and details of what meats are available when you visit.
Otherwise, if you write a review saying that the meat was full of oil, plain or not a representation of the Brazilian cuisine; then you risk to look like a moaner with a sad soul and for that poor review you are motivating people like me, that just wanted a nice dinner at a nice place; to write a fair review to counter that unfair review.
If you do not like meat why would you visit a restaurant that serves mainly grilled meet? What is the idea of leaving a poor review because you do not eat meat? Please be fair to those people providing a service at this place and earning their living providing a nice place to enjoy a nice meal.
Those that say it is expensive, there is a huge sign at the entrance with the cost of the meals and the drinks; if we feel it is expensive why would we decide to eat in the place in the first place? The answer for me is that I want to experience the meal in the place, I would not bad review that is expensive if I am aware of how much it will cost.
The cost of a meal at 9.30 pm on the 6th of July 2018 was £29 per person plus the costs of your drinks. Our bill was £75 including drinks.
We did not bring coupons/vouchers, we paid the full price and also left a tip in cash to the waitress because the service was great. The members of staff were attentive, the food was great and the whole experience of the service was very pleasant; therefore we hope to visit them often and very soon.
Thank you, I hope my...
Read moreUnfortunately, my review is not very good. I won't be returning. Yesterday the manager seemed very upset with the grill crew. I heard all the conversation while I was at the buffet - they spoke in Portuguese ( I understand Portuguese), manager even shouted "put* que pariu!" This is unacceptable! In front of so many customers. Making me feel uncomfortable for the grill crew and myself. Regarding the MEAT: totally raw on the inside. There was only 2 options - WELL DONE or RAW. if you truly know how a rodízio works, and how good a Brazilian BBQ is, you'd be as disappointed as I was. Like they were rushing the meat ... Meat had no seasoning, and took at least 20 min after me and my friend coming back from the buffet to get any BEEF meat / PICANHA (rump). They only had been to our table 2 times before that. A bit slow at the beginning, but it came down to normal after. STAFF: some Passadores didn't really understand our simple questions like " what meat is that?" or " thinner slices, please". Also, they really need more training in how to hold and cut slices without ruining the meat. They were trying though! Bless them! We told them we were waiting FOR PICANHA and beef meat and they kindly came through quite a few times. They also asked us how the food was, if we wanted more drinks or dessert, etc. BUFFET - The beans ( star of the show) were very soupy and tasteless, the vinagrete was ruined, we had to tell the waitress and the table next door also noticed the same. I didn't try any other salad after that. They had a very good and rich salads bar, but very few choices of actual buffet dishes and very few starters choices. Overall, I missed that Brazilian rich food flavours. DRINKS - your wine selection is very good. £6.90 for house wine but it was a good selection. A soda is £3.50... I ordered the £5.90 cachaça double, and it to added to £15! It doesn't add up. The staff was very polite and understandable and fix the error. If I had a house like this, I'd take pride in my routes, the service I was providing and how to train my staff properly so they'd represent me exceptionally. All staff, expect for that unpleasant monologue from the manager's side were kind and polite. I left a tip and was happy to pay service charge nevertheless, because the...
Read moreAbsolutely horrific the worst experience ever!! Arrived at 7:30 (last weekend) table of 15 all having the Sunday buffet. Everyone's first time to Rodizio rico but we were not asked or explained the system.
First 20mins started off fine we got our drinks and sides the servers brought the meat to us. Other than the ridiculous amount of times sausages, chicken and garlic bread etc had been brought to us. We waited for the good cuts of meat to come out again.
After over a 30min wait and staring at the grill, the goods finally came out. The servers are getting closer and closer to our table. Belly's are rubbling, they get to the table of two next to us. Then they walk right passed us and then again and again and again.
Now confused and frustrated, constantly being asked if we “had finished?” repeatedly saying “No”. The desert trolly was rolled out, we start to get the feeling that they want us out! They now completely clear our table. Very confused, we look for servers to explain to us what was going on. Nobody comes.
The whole table decide to go back to the buffet and wait again for the meat. They obviously wanted to shift all the unpopular sausages, chicken and garlic bread on to us as that was all they brought. The good cuts of meat finally come out and again we are ignored and the desert tray makes a second unwanted appearance.
Still hungry but extremely annoyed we ask for the bill as it was now approaching 11pm. I asked the manager to have the service charged removed as the service was terrible.
He became very offended and started to argue with me in-front of other diners. He then said that it was our fault that we had been ignored. I ended the altercation with “Regardless of what you think, I am a dissatisfied customer and it is not my job to be running after you and your servers for us to be get food”
The manager removed the service charge from the bill and gave a half...
