The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxing meal. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the menu has something for everyone. There was no music in the restaurant, which I think would have a positive impact on the environment if it did.
Upon arrival we were seated fast, but it took quite a long time for someone to come and take our order. It wasn’t a major issue, but we did have to wait longer than expected. But then we were served by a really great waitress called Mahi, which made up for the time we had to wait.
Mahi is honestly great, she greeted us with a smile and took the time to give us recommendations on the different plates we were wondering if we should order. Mahi took time to answer all our questions and the recommendations she gave us did not disappoint.
We ordered the Cheese-Licious and the Hot ‘N’ Juicy burgers with a side of plain fries and loaded fries. For drinks we got the Mango passion drink and the Cookie blast milkshake. For dessert we ordered the Chocolate-Berry Croffle with chocolate and Strawberries and the Cheat day cake.
The burgers were lovely although they could have done with a bit more seasoning. The fries were tasty and well seasoned and the loaded fries were really spicy. So if you don’t like spice do not get the loaded fries. The Mango drink has ginger in it, and the Cookie blast milkshake tasted amazing. One of the best Oreo milkshake I’ve tasted.
I didn’t enjoyed the Croffle and my partner said they were decent, but he would not order it again. But the Cheat day cake was absolutely amazing that was the best chocolate cake I have ever tasted. It was so soft, warm and the chocolate was very rich. I definitely recommend trying it, you won’t regret it.
The food was served on extremely small plates, the burger was small so the plate made sense but the loaded fries also came on a small plate meaning as you ate from it there was chips just falling off the plate. They should make the portions bigger because after I ate all of that I was not full, I didn’t feel like I ate anything.
For the portion sizes and the quality of the food, I definitely believe prices of the plates are over inflated. There’s nothing wrong with the restaurant and I’d say it is worth a visit but just be aware that it won’t be cheap, it’s quite pricy. Especially if you get a food, drink...
Read moreWent to Haute Dolci O2 with my Family on 24.11.23 and we had a really lovely time. The food was lovely. I Personally ordered a Biscoff Lotus milkshake, unfortunately it was given to me without the Biscoff on top as advertised, but i didn’t notice really until later and the shake still tasted good. I then ordered the fiery Cheetos burger which was very nice but very spicy and the Cheetos itself I didn’t think was crunchy enough; kind of felt stale. If I’m going to have Cheetos in a burger I’m expecting to experience a crunch in my mouth. I also found the burger a bit sloppy. In the end I had to eat it with a knife and fork, because it was causing too much mess when eating by hand. I then had a Biscoff Lotus French toast which was very nice. The ice cream served along side balanced out the sweetness. The Atmosphere whilst dining was busy. A lot of people had come to dine but the service was still good considering. We choose to order our food first and then our desserts after we ate in opposed to ordering everything at once. I did notice because of this our original waiter wasn’t able to take our desserts order. It didn’t matter anyway because another waitress took it. Our party that attended had people with special dietary requirements. My son being one. I felt that they was very attentive to this. As soon as we arrived they inquired about my son, and the showed us gluten free and free from options from the menu. It was great to know that my son who has alot of allergies, could still happily enjoy himself. However when taking order for others at the table, when specifically given a request they struggled to deliver. On 2 occasions my niece had to wait while we ate because her order was wrong. Obviously her experience was tainted by this. I also don’t think their portion sizes match their prices for the food, Everything on the menu roughly cost around £8-£12 and some things even more, and I feel like the portions being served should reflect the price. Anyway to wrap this all up overall I had a pleasant experience at Haute Dolci O2! Would I go again? Definitely! I would however like to go to another branch but just for...
Read moreI feel really disappointed in this place! We went in as soon as they opened and had to wait a while to be served. The atmosphere was flat, would be great if they could play some nice music in the background even just chilled music or something as the silence was almost deafening! We waited a good 10+ mins for our drink and my coffee was served in a juice glass? No handle and extremely hot so I had to use my jumper to cover my hands so I could hold it, it was so hot I actually burnt my tongue. The pink lemonade was refreshing I have to say. I had the Shakshuka which was delicious, my friend had the breakfast, the portion of the scrambled egg was a bit skimpy if I’m honest. After we finished, our plates weren’t taken for another 20+ minutes- just to preface this by saying it was not busy so I wonder how they cope when it is? Eventually someone took our plates and we then had to call someone over to ask for some desserts. We ordered the Matilda cake based off of the advertised picture and it was lacklustre to say the least. When you pull the metal holder up you are made to think the chocolate sauce will pour down and you have chocolate swirls on top and we did not. When we questioned this, we were told they only the “cold” version of the cake looked that way but it when we ordered and asked how it came the waitress said it was warm so… Went to pay and was shocked to see an almost £9 service charge… it was not warranted. I will not pay extra for mediocre service. When we asked it to be taken off we were asked why, I understand they may want feedback but as a customer it is my prerogative to pay service charge or not so do not think this should be questioned.
Overall the mains were okay, dessert was a let down and if you’re going to serve coffee in glass it needs to have a handle or to be double...
