Alfie's Vintage Market is fantastic and definitely worth a visit, but sadly the service at the Roof Top Kitchen is abysmal to say the least.

Having waited at a table, which hadn't been cleared, for near on 20 minutes, I eventually went inside to ask if I needed to order inside. I was told someone would come and take my order. After another 5 mins, someone finally partially cleared the table and took my order, only to return 5 minutes later to tell me that what I'd ordered was no longer available!

At this point I decided to go elsewhere. The staff's reasoning was that they were busy, which hardly seemed a valid excuse given three tables which were occupied after I arrived were served before me.

While I will definitely visit the market again, I will give the cafe a miss! One star is for the rooftop...

First of all, it’s just a super interesting location You walk up the stairs through all the unique antique stores And when you arrive you get the vibe Very cozy, home-like, and just cute. I liked the kinda random decorations and the rooftop! No reservation needed when you go there right at the opening (10am) Super full english breakfast The bacon and sausages were impressive I also love their cakes a lot We ended up ordering 2 chocolate cakes 1 carrot cake and 1 lemon cake after our breakfast! I like the cake+tea deal (5,50£) And the staffs were all welcoming and nice. The huge tip jar(?) was also funny and cool This place is such a hidden gem and I definitely want ti come again next time to eat on the...

There are not many roof top dining spaces in London, so it's good to know that this Roof top kitchen is always relaxing & refreshing, especially in summer when there's often live blues on a Saturday afternoon.

The cakes which are homemade are always a talking point. The coffee and walnut cake is a particular favourite.

Brunch, lunch, beers, wine, tea, coffee, soups, cakes, alternatives to dairy milk is available and a menu comprising if locally sourced ingredients.

There's free WiFi too. Attracting writers, journalists and creative types later in the evening on week days.

Come & enjoy. Done in, take away, meet friends &...

Dog friendly hidden gem caffe in the most unexpected location in London. The caffe is at the roof top of an indoor antiques market. The market is wonderful with numerous stalls to look at and be amazed by. Even with plenty of signs, it can be a bit difficult to find the caffe as the building is a bit of a maze - when the lift works, you get to it in no time The set up is very cosy and the service is great. I depend in total just under £16 for a full English, slice of cake and a cup of coffee. I would definitely be going back.
