Please read: There are some very strange reviews for this restaurant. One individual below rated the sprite highly? 🤯 Mick ordered a “curry” called Haleem and said it was a bowl of mush. Others have said not as authentic as it used to be and others have said the best Pakistani food outside Pakistan. Nonsense! There are some dives in London that serve REALLY good Pakistani food but the venue is just too shabby. The Naan here caters to English taste buds and tastes to me like it has sugar in it or too much. You will like it if you like Indian restaurants. The Haleem was actually decent haleem but you have to know what haleem is to start. I make and eat Haleem in various places. Theres was actually pretty good. Portion was small for the price. Better than a place in Hampstead and not as good as a place in Euston. But this is by authenticity vote and my knowing taste buds. I would say it would be very difficult for this restaurant to please everyone as its trying to be both Indian and Pakistani so some of both wont get what they expect at times. I was there i the same period as someone below who mentioned the bathrooms but I didn’t see what they did. It was fine. I went after the lunch period and it was very quiet. When a restaurant is in quiet periods like that the. You get to notice other things. I would say they need to mop and wipe all surfaces everyday with some good perhaps lemon smelling cleaner/disinfectant. Its a decent place all in all and they could up their authenticity as they are supposed to be Pakistani with robust flavours. Prices are punchy so they need to perform 10 out of ten time’s. Good luck to them

Unfortunately, my recent experience at Lahori Restaurant in St John's Wood was extremely disappointing, and I am compelled to share my feedback. It is with great regret that I must say that the overall quality of the food was subpar, leaving me with the impression that it was preheated and frozen. This was a stark contrast to my previous visits, which had left me with favorable impressions. The flavor of the dishes was particularly unsatisfactory and noticeably off. It is disheartening when a restaurant that one used to enjoy fails to maintain its standards of taste and culinary excellence. The lack of attention to detail in the preparation of the meals was evident, and it greatly impacted the overall dining experience. To make matters worse, the restroom facilities at Lahori Restaurant were in an unacceptable state during my visit. The toilet was unclean, and the broken sink resulted in water being scattered all over the place. Such unhygienic conditions are not only off-putting but also reflect poorly on the restaurant's commitment to maintaining a pleasant dining environment. Having been a previous patron of Lahori Restaurant, it is regrettable to witness the decline in both culinary quality and cleanliness. Based on my recent experience, I cannot recommend this establishment, as it fails to meet the basic standards expected of a restaurant. It is my sincere hope that the management takes immediate steps to address these issues and restore the reputation of what was once a favored dining spot.

I recently hosted a party of 50 people at Lahori. A little gem of a restaurant which deserves all five stars deservingly. The location is sublime, with an atmosphere of ambience and lots of available parking close by. The owner Yasin and manager Ali along with the team were exceptional to work with in organising this special event. “Nothing was a problem, attitude with lots of solutions, which is a becoming a rarity in today’s changing world, was exceptional, coupled with excellent value for money compared to other competitors around central London restaurants that we have eaten in. The food was just amazing overall. Not only as hosts did we love the food but all our guests were blown away by the experience and food too. Your taste buds will just be thrown into a frenzy by the flavours and taste of real Pakistani cuisine. The food is fresh, succulent and not too hot and not too mild, just right. The presentation was bang on for all 9 dishes. The service of the owner and the staff was next level, they are caring and efficient. This place is a must try, seriously, you won’t be disappointed.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Lahori Church Pakistani food restaurant, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was greeted by the warm and inviting ambiance, which set the stage for a truly memorable dining experience.

First and foremost, the menu at Lahori Church is a testament to the rich and diverse culinary heritage of Pakistan. It offers a wide variety of mouthwatering dishes that cater to every palate. Whether you are a fan of traditional Pakistani cuisine or someone looking to explore new flavors, this restaurant has got you covered.

One standout aspect of my visit was the impeccable service. The staff at Lahori Church were not only attentive and friendly but also had an extensive knowledge of the menu. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and assist with any dietary restrictions. Their passion for the food they serve truly shone through, making me feel like a valued guest throughout my time there.

Now, let's talk about the food itself. Every dish I sampled was an explosion of flavors and spices that transported me straight to the streets of Lahore. The biryani, a staple in Pakistani cuisine, was fragrant, perfectly spiced, and cooked to perfection. The kebabs were tender and succulent, while the curries were rich, creamy, and infused with aromatic herbs and spices.

What truly impressed me about Lahori Church was their commitment to maintaining the authenticity of Pakistani flavors. The chefs clearly take pride in using traditional cooking techniques and sourcing fresh, high-quality ingredients. This dedication to quality is evident in every bite and is what sets this restaurant apart from the rest.

If you have a sweet tooth, don't miss out on their delectable desserts. The sheer variety of traditional Pakistani sweets on offer is astounding, and each one is a pure indulgence that will leave you craving for more.

Overall, my experience at Lahori Church Pakistani food restaurant was nothing short of exceptional. From the warm and friendly service to the tantalizing flavors that danced on my taste buds, it was a culinary journey that I won't soon forget. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking to savor the authentic tastes of Pakistan in a welcoming and vibrant setting.

This review is based on my personal experience...

On 23rd July 2015 we went to see a show at The Cockpit and on the way we thought let's have food at Lahore. Most Lahore's are really nice. However we had the worst experience ever. Firstly we had to wait 1 hour for dinner @ 10.30pm despite there being free tables. Omer the manager was adamant that we were not allowed to share tables...even if the diners didn't mind! Secondly when we finally got to sit down after 1hour, we were not served or nobody even came to take our order for a further 30mins...finally my friend had to tell one if the waiters to come and serve us he came after 15mins after being served! We finally placed our order, king prawn methi, masala fish, Karai Gosht, salad & 2 butter nans one plain. After 40 mins we were told that they had no more Karai gosht left we could have a free fish of anything else...so my friend chose chicken Karai. It took them 40mins to tell us this!! Wow then another 20 mins to tell us they ran out of chicken! Which Lahore restaurant runs out of chicken this is unheard of...and believe me we are regular Lahore eaters!! Shocking!! We never recieved the salad or butter nans just plain ones...we spoke to the manager and he says because at the beginning we were requesting for a table for 2 and we didn't mind to share as behind us there was a party of 3 & 8 he thought we were being confrontational hence why we were treated so badly! Myself & my dearest will not be visiting Lahore restaurant in Gatesforth Street again. I also will let The Cockpit Theatre know the disrespectful behaviour the manager Omer has and how they treated us Indians (hindu's) at there restaurant. Omer I will be taking this complaint further to FSA the UK Government Body as I don't trust and believe your food levels are to the standard a restaurant should be. Horrendous food, disrespectful service & the most awful Manager who was extremely confrontational. Review...
