The Barman wouldn’t give me a chalice to drink my wine. He said I didn’t have time but there were 15 mins left until the show. After asking 3 times he finally asks the manager whether he could, she agrees. When he gives it to me I say “finally” and the manager starts arguing with me. I was shocked never has this happened to me. To make matters worst I was having a drink with my friend and the manager shouts out “last call for the show” and I say “yeah one second I’m waiting for a friend” and she responds “I wasn’t speaking to you”. I was in disbelief, the audacity and horrible manners. When I asked to speak to the manager she responds saying it was her. The show was great but the manager was absolutely dreadful , no manners and a very bitter woman. Please be careful how you approach her as she can be very rude. I’m going through cancer treatment and I haven’t been out in a long time and I was looking forward to the show, but this is how I got treated. Unacceptable service from the manager she ruined my...
Read moreThe show was amazing (Wankernomics) but the venue was dire. "Inclusive" toilets were gross with men doing number 2s causing horrific scents in the stalls and causing long queues of women needing to use stalls. Despite being "inclusive" there was no sanitary bin in the right side loo which myself and another women there needed to make use of. Aside from the rank loos, the theatre was roasting hot and stuffy, audio was crap and the performers mic died, nobody helped him or provided a new mic..., where were the AV staff? Eventually they gave up using the mics for the final 20 mins of the show (very professionally handled by the duo). The back row of seats is terribly uncomfortable. I do not need a reply but the venue ruined an amazing show. Sorry to the Wankernomics guys for whom this was their final show...
Read moreWent and saw the show Fairytale on Church Street and have a wonderful experience. A cozy and intimate theatre space, with a friendly staff, we were welcomed in and immediately felt like we were a part of a close community.
The show was fantastic. It featured a talented cast and while it was a show that was geared towards a younger audience my partner and I were laughing throughout the entire show. Glitzy Von Jagger as Mother Hood was captivating and my eyes were always drawn to her when she was on stage. The entire cast played the parts very well, and it seemed like a fun show to be a part of.
It seemed like the rest of my audience enjoyed as well because everyone was interacting through the performance. Bring your kids and family, they...
