Do not go here for service.
We arrived without booking and were turned away by a small Asian lady * I wish I had taken her name* she said they were full, when infact we could see empty seats. She turned us away. I went outside and booked the table, I returned inside and said we have a booking now. She said wait outside for half an hour as per booking. We were fine with that as the booking was for half an hour time. We then asked the other waitress if we could sit in side, she was lovely and cleared the table for us.
As soon as we got in the horrible waitress told us we needed to be out in 45 mins. By which time our actual booking would have only been 30 minutes in! By thr time our food arrived over an hour later ( so she couldn't ask us to leave anyway)
The waitress whole demeaner, customer service and just well common sense seemed rediculous!
She ignored us the whole service I think because she was upset that her colleague had shown her up on poor service and understanding seating. It's a shame she took that attitude.
The other waitress was wonderful, albeit rushed off her feet but we were greatful for her and her service.
Food was great, can't faulty it. It's a shame when one person ruins an outing.
I just can't believe she was turning people away on a Wednesday evening when the restaurant wasn't full just because we didn't have a booking, I'm not sure what her boss or manager might think, especially with restaurants and cafes supposedly struggling!
Thankfully we...

Read moreHad lunch at Rosa Thai Clapham today for my mates 30th Birthday! Super chuffed to be able to catch up with my mate, and mates for his 30th 💯 The service at this branch was excellent! ♠️ As I walked in, I was offered a drink at the bar 🍺before being seated at our booked table. I was then able to take another drink to the table immediately💨. I arrived later than the party, and that meant I was keen to get seated. Since we were a larger group, I was able to place my food and further drink order swiftly and was asked about any allergies etc. My food came pronto 🗯I had a chicken and king prawn Pad Thai with no beanspouts. The food was hot 🔥, spicy and a large portion 😋....Had to share it with my mate because the portion was so huge. Would like to say a big thanks to all the team at rosa thai who were on today for making my experience here great! Was lovely to catch up with mates who I unfortunately don't get to see as often as I'd like and also meet some new great friends! Big shout out to🔥 ISABELLA 🔥who took extra care of me. Love...
