Roti Hut — Restaurant in London

I have ordered food first time today vegetarian red rice and curry. I served it on plate and I only had one mouth of it and it smells gone off. I tried to get a refund from Uber but couldn’t. I phoned the restaurant and explained to one of the female worker and she told me ‘beetroot and aubergine with chick peas made today and rest of the curries yesterday’.

She was saying you can come now and we will replace but the point is we live 2.8 miles away and the reason I ordered is not to go out eating. The lady then passed me on to a male worker he was so rude and told me I am lying. But he is lying because his words contradicts the lady workers words because lady worker said apart from two curries al the rest done yesterday.

He called me lier. He said he has my number and will give me a call. But still didn’t phone me. SO NO DINNER for me today. You can see in the picture that the food doesn’t look fresh.

Never again with this restaurant. I will complain to the trading standards and health and safety department with the council.

PS It’s 22:59 and shop is closed no phone call yet. Management is very rude and sell stale and gone off food. Disgustingly very rude. The man needs to get trained properly. Food safety is zero. Don’t go here or order food. You will get food...

I haven't written a review before, however, this had to be said. On Tuesday the 20th of July, I went in and ordered one chicken noodles and one vegetarian noodles. My mother is a vegetarian. At home, we opened both noodles and saw that the vegetarian noodles had chicken inside. I called the restaurant and I took both of the food to the restaurant.

The chef argued that it was soya meat. I've been eating Sri Lankan food since birth and can tell the difference between soya meat and chicken meat. The chef carried on telling me that it was a special type of soya meat and they are the only place in the UK that can make this type of soya. I asked to see the packaging of the soya however coincidentally they did not have any packaging.

I must say they did refund for the vegetarian noodles. However, if I am mistaken and in fact it is soya meat that tastes/looks like chicken, they should have the packaging it came from, instead of calling me delusional.

Not happy at all with this place. I wouldn't recommend or go back to this restaurant....

I recently visited Roti Hut, and I was blown away by the exceptional service provided by Thangamathi and Thusi. From the moment I walked in, she greeted me with a warm smile and made sure I felt welcomed. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, patiently answering all my questions and even giving me great recommendations. Her positive energy and attention to detail made the dining experience so much better!

Thusi was quick, efficient, and very friendly, ensuring that my order was perfect and that I had everything I needed. It’s rare to find such fantastic customer service these days, and Thusi and Thangamathi truly made my visit memorable. I will definitely be returning, thanks to the wonderful experience she provided.
