I am pretty regular costumer and I would like to give my personal opinion based on my experience . I would like to start off… Female bathroom ( feedback from my partner)most of the time is in a terrible state ,sometimes can’t use a toilet due to poor condition. Some members of staff behind the bar lacking experience I guess due to their age and their ability. No communication with the customer when it comes to serving spirits and mixers . They gladly serve you double amount of spirit ( when you order ) with excessive amount of mixer( juice.. etc) and that’s not acceptable . If I wanted a glass of juice I would get it from a store . Tables are not clean on regular basis ..wet and sticky . Here is another issue .. a member of staff behind the bar “offering” a customer a half a pint of alcoholic drink based on personal observations ( assuming the customer had enough ) That happened to me … I had a breakfast and an alcoholic drink in the morning .When I finished all I was going to order another drink and then I heard from a member of staff behind the bar that I should have a half a pint because I don’t look good .She left me speechless and I felt quite upset by her comment .Unbelievable. Thinking like that is … majority of the pub customers should have been refused an alcoholic drink because they had more than one pint . I wish the customer service was better and members of staff could do better job ( some ) Apart from that all good...

I have been to this pub many times and always enjoy Wetherspoons pubs. However this evening after walking my dog I visited The Village Inn and sat at a table outside. I ordered a beer and sat down with my dog. Nobody else was sitting outside. After a few minutes a doorman appeared with all his body armour micropnones and CCTV and said there was a problem. He went on to explain that dogs were not allowed although i was sitting outside on the pavement. He then suggested I sit near the rope barrier with Max my dog on the other side of the rope to me so Max will not be on the premises. I told him I had already ordered a pint but he suggested it was the only answer to this problem and he was trying to help me. I of course left and went to another dog friendly pub in Pinner and phoned my friends and told them to meet me there instead of The Village Inn. I will always be a supporter of Tim Martin`s pubs but not this...

I gave this pub way too many chances because it’s weatherspoons. They’re showing the Euros but the channel is laggy & twitchy even though it’s free to broadcast (BBC & ITV) so we literally ended up watching it on our phone, fine. A week later, they chose to show Czech game over Portugal because there was 3 people that were watching it as compared to about 10, who then all left including us. It was still twitchy and laggy, they didn’t fix it. Their wings are brilliant, give them that but if you order 5 wings you don’t get any sauce because you have to order 10 wings in order to get this tiny 10ml sauce. Most of the staff are women, gorgeous but that’s about it, they do not know how to run a pub. They just don’t care, literally told us to go elsewhere to watch the portugal game because they don’t know to put 2 different games on 2 screens. Me and my friends will not be returning to this pub....

Just poorly run.

I visited last month. A smaller 'Spoons not far from the Underground station. Another branch that offers the very reasonable 'Top Plates, Low Rates' deals. I had an All Day Brunch and a pint for £5.99. Not bad at all! A Traditional Breakfast (if you are there before Noon) can be had for as little as £2.99! Food was well prepared and good portion for the money. After clocking up over 100 visits to 'Spoons (still open for business), I'm coming to the conclusion that not all 'Spoons are equal in what is offered. Many of the smaller branches - such as The Village Inn - make more of an effort in terms of service, food quality, presentation and beer quality, than many of the larger, more popular branches elsewhere. If in the area, worth a visit. Also do a better than average range of Real Ales too, for £2.26 a pint.

One of my local wetherspoons, and for what and where it is its absolutely brilliant. The staff are absolute legends and really funny, and have always been really nice about the fact that any time I come in here I've been incredibly wasted. If you're lucky you may meet the Wealdstone Raider here too, making every time you come here potentially unforgettable (I say potentially because...y'know ^). The food here is also good for spoons and the drinks are delicious! Thanks for the great times everyone, will be back soon.
