If you’re looking for a place that combines authentic flavors, warm hospitality, and a delightful dining experience, this Indian restaurant is a must-visit. Every time I step through their doors, I’m greeted with the irresistible aroma of freshly prepared spices and a welcoming smile from the staff.
The menu is a treasure trove of classic dishes and regional specialties. From their rich, creamy butter chicken to the perfectly spiced biryani, every bite feels like a celebration of Indian cuisine. The vegetarian options are equally impressive, with their paneer tikka and dal makhani being personal favorites.
What sets this restaurant apart is the attention to detail—the naan is always fluffy, the chutneys bursting with flavor, and the presentation thoughtful. Don’t skip the desserts! Their gulab jamun and mango kulfi are the perfect way to end a meal.
The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between cozy and vibrant, making it ideal for both intimate dinners and lively group outings. The staff are attentive without being intrusive, always eager to recommend dishes or adjust spice levels to your preference.

Read moreHad one of their menus drop through my letter box and noticed it was cheap. Ordered a range of food to see if I would make this my local on New Years Day. Probably the WORST Indian food I have ever tasted (including supermarket Indian food) The Tandoori Chicken was not fresh - just reheated (tasted like cardboard) mint sauce was nice. The meat biryani - The meat was unrecognizable dry and appalling to the taste, reheated old rice! with a vegetable curry which was cooked in some brown gravy, soggy, horribly overcooked vegetables. Prawn Dansak - Normally my favorite dish - Inedible, had a couple of spoonfuls, but no more. Chicken Balti jalfrezy - Supposed to be a spring chicken, but wasn't, Good quality chicken pieces but in incredibly greasy sauce. BTW All dishes were practically swimming in oil. All in all the worst Indian food I have had the misfortune to sample. They threw a free bottle of beer, the best part of the meal.
It also cost me 30 quid, I thought I would be getting a bit of a bargain and be eating out of this for a couple of days. Threw out what I didn't eat in my first meal, what a waste of money and time....
Read moreHad a long day of travel and strolled into Ruhit’s with 10 minutes to close. The owner Rohan was more than happy to welcome us into his restaurant for some fresh food. He was very helpful with suggestions and made no effort to upsell or order more food than we needed. True gentleman and professional. Ended up taking friend there a few nights later for a sit down experience and from the entrance to the exit, some of the most friendly and generous employees I met. Felt like I was being welcomed into their own home. Ordered more food suggested by Rohan. Some on menu and off menu items. Can’t speak highly of this place enough. From the flavours of the food to the generosity and kindness of the staff. An absolutely amazing business. Anyone in the area, do yourself a favour and try this place. Will definitely make the effort to come back whenever I find myself in London again, no matter which part I’m staying in. Thank you Rohan and staff for showing us true hospitality. An experience I will...
