Went to try it on 19th May the store is under refurbishment.
Unfortunately, the business didn't update it and a long 2 hour journey went in vain.
Will update the review once I revisit in the future.
Update 01/06/2024
Finally been here today.
The location indeed was wrong because the address on Google takes you to the branch they will be shifting soon to.
Their actual location is further down the road after taking right from the signal intersection. ( This was informed when I tried to call the restaurant number lol )
Ordered the £20 Spicy Broasted Chicken , £10 Small Cold Mezze , Shawerma Chicken and Lamb Large ( But Cancelled - Read Through for dining experience)
Food : Broasted Chicken - Moist - Flavourful - Very Oily
Mezze - Hummus, Mutabbal, Everything on that platter was nice and had an authentic taste.
Shawerma's - Never Came
The rest was busy and crowded for sure and we did wait till the end for the order very patiently and gave 2 reminders for our order but never got it. Eventually had to cancel it because of bad service and also some other things.
The definition of a food business for me is someone passionate bringing in his flavours on the table and selling it with pride and confidence that people are going to definitely like it and providing them an amazing and unforgettable experience so they come back.
However this was more of a doing a favour kind of experience.
Bad experience #1 - While ordering, the guy just took the menu from the table after hearing 2 dishes and was walking away until one of us had to call him back saying we haven't finished ordering. Like, literally, he heard 2 things and then just left us immediately so it's not like we made him wait but we gave him a benefit of doubt that maybe he's having a bad day.
Order Done and then a good wait time ( 15 mins or more )
The mezze comes in and then main course family spicy brosted meal comes in but shawermas never came and unfortunately we got off from the table disappointed and had to cancel it as we had to leave. ( About 30 mins )
Meanwhile, the 2 times he came to get us drinks, give us food we did remind him, Please give us the shawerma, But nothing.
So I think that's lack of customer consideration. There could be mistakes but it clearly shows what's a mistake and what's a lack of consideration for clientele.
All in all, I have had a brosted chicken recently in Central, which I'll be posting a review about soon, which is equally good.
Taste's same, service much better, prices are same, ambience is ok and staff is very welcoming.
All in all, this defintely isn't worth the hype that social media has given it. There is nothing like wow or out of the world here or anything.
Besr Broasted, sorry but won't be coming in again to cause your staff an inconvenience of serving us....

This place is sooooo busy and for good reason, the food is amazing and I would say it’s the best fried chocking in North West London. And that creates it own problem because you have to wait ages to be served, I think they need a bigger place, don’t get me wrong you pay very quickly but you have to wait ages for your food. Depending on what day it is, people are queuing outside to sit down and waiting to collect their order. One negative is the person who answers the phone for orders she has either got bad hearing or whatever, but talking to her on the phone is like pulling teeth, she always asks me to spell my name . This is a new thing since moving to the new place, honestly she almost puts me off ordering, not a very nice attitude on the phone at all.
The food is amazing. The majority of the staff are polite and obviously rushed off their feet apart from that lady that answers the phone whenever I call.
I don’t have no real negative comments about this place apart from the waiting time and as mentioned it’s because of the popularity of the place. Another comment though is that they should be consistent which who serves, today I did not get the normal pickles that comes with the spicy chicken meal, which I normally do.
Today I went to buy lunch and I was served by a gentleman I’ve never seen before and I’ve been there about ten times now with and without guests, he might even be one of the owners. He served me and I asked how long will it take, he said 20 minutes and I mistakenly said “that’s long” simply because it was not that busy today and when it’s busy it’s normally 20 minutes, he then decided to explain to me that this was not KFC and everything is freshly cooked, I paused him and said I have been here before and I kind of knew that but he was polite so no problem.
All in all this is a great place to eat if you can get a seat. Please don’t get upset if you can’t be seated. And again repeat the staff are great apart from the woman who answers the phone, the...
Read moreGreat buzz and atmosphere, reminiscent of being abroad in a Middle Eastern country at times. Being a busy place and full of locals is always a good sign. It means it is continuously serving fresh food and is well approved by the community in general.
Friendly staff and excellent service. We had to wait around 10 minutes for a table and was well looked after overall. When seated, spacing was limited and very crowded. Be ready to bump elbows and get the occasional soft brush / knock to your head or back if your seated on the counter side.
Started with the mix meze. Tasted very good, however, they ran out of the hot meze items and replaced it with other items on the menu. But impressive overall.
Really wanted to try the lamb shawrma, but again, ran out of this item (8.30pm??) so went for chicken instead. Was average in taste, expected more flavour. However, Chips tasted fantastic and had a home cook vibe.
Disappointed they ran out of lamb. One of the main reasons for coming alongside the broasted chicken.
Finally, Ordered half a broasted spicy (injected - Al Baik style) fried chicken and was advised it will take 30 minutes. Chicken arrived in 20 minutes and was fresh, juicy, succulent and moist… but lacked something.
My Expectations were quite high having had Al-Baik in Saudi.. and this just did not match in terms of flavour profile, so was a bit disappointed. Chicken was fresh and moist, but lacked the spicy broast flavour inside. But very good for normal fried chicken when accompanied by the garlic sauce.
Again, very friendly and accommodating staff. They are looking to have the Ealing branch open in 3 months, which should alleviate the issue around space and seating at this branch.
Is this like the UK version of Al-Baik? Not really, but if they tweaked their recipe, or added a new flavour profile alongside their current one then It has a chance.
Was it worth the experience? Yes, always wanted to try this place.
Will I drive an hour and come back anytime soon? Probably not in the...
