Rusty Bike Restaurant on Mile End Road provides a warm and casual dining experience with a cozy atmosphere. The service is friendly and attentive, making it a comfortable spot for a meal. I tried their Pad Thai, and it was well-executed. The noodles were cooked just right—soft yet with a bit of chew. The dish had a nice balance of flavors, with a hint of sweetness and savory notes that were enhanced by a squeeze of lime. The chicken pieces were tender and complemented the noodles well, along with fresh bean sprouts and crunchy vegetables, adding texture to each bite. While the Pad Thai was enjoyable, it could benefit from a bit more spice or tang to elevate the flavors further. Overall, Rusty Bike offers a good Pad Thai and a pleasant dining experience, making it worth a visit if you're in the area.

Charming pub/bar full of character with quirky decor! Decent selection of drinks & food, including sharing options like squid & sweet potato chips. They even have some classic board games for customers... Food cost has recently gone up in price by about a pound (& their website menu still has not been updated). They also have some Japanese dishes available now in addition to the Thai menu. Playing Jenga while drinking beers with friends has certainly made our visit fun & memorable 😁 Free secure WiFi is also available. Dogs friendly. There are a few docking spaces for bikes on top of the fence, this make the place look even more special when those docs are in use 🚲

Love it!!! I had seen the pub from the bus on my home from somewhere, and had always been curious. It was lovely and friendly staff too. The only thing missing was no real ales, although they had plenty of 'new age' beers. I went for a pint of Guinness and was not disappointed, having come back from the 'Emerald Isle' recently it tasted great! Will definitely be back for another visit soon! Cheers! Came back to watch the rugby, brought Pickles my dashound/Jack Russell cross, he had his bowl of water and lots of fussing from everyone! It was busy but the staff were great. Will defo be back!

This pub has the worst service I've ever experienced. I went here with some friends who brought in cider from outside but they did buy some other things from the pub. After an hour a worker, a short asian girl, came and told my friends to leave. I asked if they could just get rid of their drinks and stay but then she turned to me and told me to leave too. To be clear, I had done nothing wrong and was merely waiting for their kitchen to open at 5 but I was still forced to leave. When I tried to defend myself saying I had done nothing wrong and was just waiting for food she yelled at me to leave. I think this is extremely unprofessional and I have been to the rusty bike many times before but this is the first time I have experienced such an attitude. Honestly the food is just mediocre and the alcohol was just mediocre too so don't come here... you're better off some place else that actually treats you...

The food itself is really good, and the drinks and atmosphere are great!! However the bouncers and security were a massive let down. We were on a small table outside watching one of the World Cup matches and a couple of our friends didn’t plan on drinking much. The bouncer came over and told us to buy another drink each or we’re getting kicked out. He stood over us for 30 minutes watching us clearly trying to intimidate and pressure us until he eventually told us to get up and “fuck off”. Myself and another were only allowed to stay as we showed them receipts showing how much money we spent. We weren’t even allowed to stand up so clearly the table being used wasn’t the issue on this man’s mind. Very outrageous as a lot of us had already ordered food on that night and spent large amounts of money yet we were asked to leave as we didn’t have a full drink in our hand, a right shame as I really like...

My flatmate and I have stumbled in here many a time, when we've been completely baked and also had a few beers, nearer down Grove Road by Victoria Park. There are always enough people in here to chat to, making it lively and not chavvy and not necessarily full of Italians (which are the general preconceptions I had of it, in the early days). Although the real eyeopener was the excellent South East Asian pub menu, spicy Singapore noodles, salt and pepper squid, duck curry, deep fried chicken wings, dim sum and when I asked for some chilli sauce they gave me a bottle of Sriracha AND some chilli oil, as I was being served another beer. I don’t think you can get much better than that, especially when you’ve totally got the munchies. We took some special fried rice back home for later, that...
