SOS Coffee in Bermondsey is a fantastic spot with much to love. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, thanks to the friendly, attentive staff who made us feel right at home. We enjoyed a delicious selection of toasties—the tuna and cheese, pastrami, and mozzarella options were all spot on, with just the right balance of flavour and that perfect toasted crunch. The coffee was equally impressive, smooth and well-brewed, a perfect complement to our meal.

However, one small disappointment marred the experience. While our first drinks were served in reusable cups, which we appreciated, our second round came in single-use paper cups with plastic lids without any request for takeaway. It seemed unnecessary and detracted from an otherwise lovely, eco-conscious vibe. It would be wonderful if reusable options were prioritised for all in-house orders to make the experience even more enjoyable and environmentally friendly.

Despite this, SOS Coffee is a gem in Bermondsey, and we’d recommend it for its quality food, excellent coffee, and...

Found this fantastic local cafe - it is great! Came here to study and the 2 girls working were so friendly to all customers throughout the day, and helped me straight away when I had a Wi-Fi problem. As a manager of a coffee shop myself I would highly recommend this one. The avocado on toast is HUGE for the price, and very tasty :P The only minor complaint I have is that the door is open wide all day long (for ventilation) but it can get very very cold especially upstairs! Maybe try having the door open a little bit less or some heaters so that people can stay longer in your awesome coffee shop. Thanks for the great food and service - I will be back...

i’ve tried different drinks on the menu a few times and every time its just pretty average, and quite pricey. although some great desserts, but still not worth the price in my opinion. paid 10£ for a slice of banana bread that was a little dry, and a matcha that didn’t taste like anything for 4/5£ medium cup. i understand that these are the prices now a days but please up your standards for drinks! customer service too, could be friendlier - it’s one of the best parts about getting a morning coffee and every time i’ve been here everyone looks quite down. still, solid sandwiches and cute place, really good location, but for its prices...

Nice little cafe that can sort you a brunch, breakfast and a quick bite on your way to work. Takeaway cups for your commute. Quite a good avocado on toast but I would personally have liked a bit more choices on the brunch section. The place has a good feel to it even though it’s still obviously work in progress. There is some extra room downstairs so it’s interesting to see how this turns out! Finally I found somewhere to have custard doughnuts! Great tasting coffee too by the way.. has potential to become a 5 stars.

Such a lovely little coffee place. I went there 2 days in a row because my friend really liked the coffee. She even ordered 2, one after another, because they were so tasty. Also, very Instagramable, so I took some pics. I don't drink coffee, so I got the tea pot and a donut in the first day and I tried the brownie the next day. Everything was lovely and I really recommend it. Judging by the queue, I think people started to know about the place and the quality of the food and drinks.
