Saffi is a nice stop for coffee and food. Their prices are reasonable (for London) for £16 we got a baguette, a salad and two hot drinks. My baguette was delicious and very filling. I was told it would be heated (it was a Tuna Melt) but they didn't melt the cheese and it was cold around the edges. I got a Chai Latte which could have used more spices for flavour but wasn't unpleasant. The atmosphere is lovely. They have decorated really well and it's incredibly clean (especially the toilets). Service was lacking a bit, the staff could use a bit more training but, again, overall they were nice. They couldn't substitute the milk for oat milk and didn't really seem to understand the request. Overall, it was a nice experience, I would recommend and I will go again.
Update: I came here again the next day for a quick coffee. The owner came over and let me know they had seen my review and were very thankful for the feedback. He was incredibly friendly and it's so good to see that my review could help. Wish them nothing...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this coffee shop for a while now, and it’s become my go-to spot! I’ve tried most of the drinks on the menu, and I’ve honestly liked every single one. The milkshakes are a standout—they taste exactly like the flavor you pick, and they’re incredibly satisfying. When I’m in the mood for something more refreshing, their smoothies never disappoint either, they’re always fresh and delicious.
Not only is the coffee great, but the dessert selection is fantastic too, perfect for when you need a snack while working on your laptop. The atmosphere is so cozy and aesthetic, making it an ideal place to settle in for a few hours. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, which really adds to the overall experience.
I forgot to take pictures of most of my drinks, but here are a few snapshots. If you’re looking for a chill spot with great drinks, tasty treats, and a nice vibe, this is the...
Read moreI was very warmly greeted by Musa, who treated me to a complimentary speciality cake as I was their first client of their brand new coffee and cake shop, named after his daughter.
It was delicious, with a light sponge, layered with a sweetened, double-cream, tangy topping, which also had bursts of blackcurrants in it.
The green couleur is because this dessert is made from spinach. And it tastes nothing like spinach. I could taste vanilla and I don't know what other secret ingredient. Musa’s wife will have to give us the ingredients 😊.
The cappuccino was perfect also.
In addition to the “spinach cake,” there was also chocolate trifle, pistachio cake, pain au chocolate and croissants, amongst those that I recognised.
Musa, assures me, the prices will be around £3.20 - £3.60.
You’ll find Saffi at the bottom of Caspian Wharf, which links the owners to the Caspian Sea and the shores of...
