Probably the only reason I go to barking side, Sambal food is amazing not only is it delicious it's prices are amazing. You can get so much food for you money when compared to other fast food/takeaway places. Sambal the healthy alternative to fast food will have you eating like a king and wondering why you have ever paid so much for food in the past. Fantastic buffet style ordering allows you to pick a huge range of food right in front of you, the food is picked packed and weighed by staff and waiting for you at the till(very clean). I regularly buy food and snacks from this place. I would have easily given them 5, but I’m holding back and giving 4 because every single time I order iddly with sambar and chutney, they don’t give me the green chutney. This has happened to me on three different occasions within the past year. When you check their menu online, iddly is pictured with sambar, green chutney and red chutney! Am I missing something?🤔🤔. The service was utterly disrespectful. I always buy smaller portions as I buy food only for one. Not once but twice the staff were displeased at this and voiced this out publicly which was very embarrassing and one lady actually made a face. The management should train the staff properly and let them know that no matter what size portions the customers buy we pay for it.
