That's the worst Cappuccino I have had for at least a decade.

This cafe either needs to have their machine serviced or teach the staff how to use it.

The milk froth (not foam) collapsed immediately upon adding sugar and stirring. There were definitely no micro bubbles. My whisk literally is not good, but even it makes a better foam than my coffee did.

That milk was not properly foamed.

The coffee itself tasted weak. Almost like filter coffee instead. Actually more like weak filter coffee.

A nice proper milk taste was also completely missing. the whole drink was watery. Even the milk seemed watered down.

Honestly, I'm not picky about cappuccinos.

I will happily drink a cappuccino from a fully automated machine where you just push a button. At home I will even drink filter with frothed milk. I am happy with a wide variety of different cappuccino versions.

But this one was far outside what I think a cappuccino should be.

Ambience It's a pretty wide open space and kinda the opposite of cozy. It has a bit of a nicer university canteen feeling. Hard chairs without cushions. Big long hall.

But it looks nice enough.

Service They do a order and deliver style service, which is fine. Everyone was polite enough. There were no problems. It didn't take too long.

Price 5.50 for a cappuccino seems like a lot to me. At least compared to Germany it seems quite high.

It's a Uni campus so I wasnt expecting that. Though to be fair it is a museum cafe where prices are typically higher.

So I guess my...

Very disappointing , they are supposed to have the restaurant open for breakfast and lunch and I went to order some hot food at 11:30. While I was choosing from the menu available at the cashier a guy came, took the menu away and said the breakfast menu was no longer available as they were swapping for lunch manu. However, I wasn’t able to order from the lunch menu either as that would not be available unti 12:00. They kept insisting they have pastries and tostie, which I didn’t want (I have food allergies anyway not compatible with the small selection from the bar). When I asked to confirm if there was no food available for 30 min (11:30-12:00) the guy looked at me saying “there are tosties there, do you see them ?”. This was rude and on a separate note, this is the first place I know having a restaurant but not allowing orders from the kitchen (of any kind) between...

We arrived around 12, got a drink and started working on our laptop and was asked to leave at 12:20 because it’s lunch time and there are other customers waiting for tables? There were people around us with their finished drinks having sat there for an hour+ and many others on laptops but we were the only ones asked to leave. We tried to close our laptop and just finish our drinks before we leave but were asked to leave ONCE AGAIN by the manager who then said we’re not allowed to move the tables ourselves when every other times we’ve been here we moved and no one has said a thing. 3/4 of the people who were asked to move were people of colour so not sure if there were some underlying racism issues with the manager but welp,...

Such a cute find! I was wandering along right after a doctor's appointment at Guy's and saw a sign saying they served hot food and drinks at the café. Went in to a really cute café with very friendly service and spaciously laid out benches and tables. I ordered Portobello mushrooms with an egg on the sourdough (£5!) And a cup of peppermint tea (£2.50). It was delicious! The mushrooms were so so tasty and the portion size was really good. One of the waitresses told me that they serve breakfast all day, that would easily make a nice light lunch. Although the exhibit sounded fascinating, it was closed - but now I have more reasons to come back!

Dope exhibit. Got a chance to see "My Kind of Black". So happy I stumbled into this place to get a look at some London hip-hop and culture here. Think the exhibit did a great job of displaying the hip-hop seen here. It also had some interactive places to get a better feel of the hip-hop scene here with "the booth" to freestyle and video lap to watch some videos as well. Overall it was a dope experience.
