London Bridge — Attraction in London

Well, colour me shocked—it’s not falling down.

Despite centuries of musical warnings from eerily cheerful children, London Bridge appears to be standing tall (well, horizontal), defying both gravity and folklore. Not a single sign of crumbling masonry, no panicked villagers trying to shore it up with sticks or silver bells. Honestly, a bit of a letdown.

Crossed it expecting some light structural failure, maybe a damsel or two lamenting the demise of civic architecture. Instead? Concrete. Steel. Commuters. A Tesco Express within sight.

No fair lady was handed over. No knights galloped past. Not even a ceremonial burning. Just a bridge—doing exactly what a bridge is supposed to do, which apparently now warrants a five-star rating on the interwebs.

Anyway, one star from me for betraying the song and fulfilling its most boring purpose:...

It's a nice bridge, it gets me over the river every time. Would recommend 5/5
