RACIALLY PROFILED!

Sea master will never get my custom again.. This is my 2nd bad experience in the store. Firstly ordered and waited for 10-15 mins whilst I presumed my order of large chips were being cooked only to be asked by the same server who took my order if they could take my order again. I told her after 15 mins already waiting I would not wait again and left.

Today I went in for 2 lunch wrap specials and had ordered and paid. The transaction went smoothly and thought my previous experience was a fluke. The server who had served me was talking to his colleague whilst preparing my order. The second colleague then approached me with a declined card receipt accusing me of having not paid previously for 2 large fish and chips. I was shocked, 1 as I’m a frequent customer and 2 because I don’t eat fish and never would have ordered these meals. Once I had let him know it wasn’t me. He then continued to embarrass me in front of the other patrons adamant that it “was me and if I’m sure... do I have a brother” as myself and the man in questioned looked the same. Frustrated I left as at this point I was being racially profiled and criminalised by the server. This treatment was unacceptable and staff should be trained to see that not all black men with beards look...

I want to update this review as, twelve months on they have returned to form. Having been elsewhere for Fish & Chips for a while we've returned to Sea Master as their fish is the freshest. The problem with phone orders & delivery bikes seems to have been resolved. We've all become more used to queuing and their food is worth the wait.

These are tough times and I want to be kind to you but tonight was a big fail. I tried queueing to order take away this evening at the best chippie around and it's a shambles. Lots of people waiting for orders and you are focussed on deliveroo and phone orders. Business is on front of you. I'm disappointed you ignored me and three others wishing to order to answer the phone or computer orders. Please think again. At least ten people outside waiting for their food were unhappy. You aren't doing yourself any favours as you cook the best fish around...

I have just eaten here with my family in the past hour. We ordered a mixed grill. There was hardly any food on the plate although we were told there was a whole skewer of each. The pieces were about the size of my thumb as if they had given us scraps left over. The food was tasty that’s the only thing. Food portions scanty and mean. It’s a shame. Left still feeling hungry despite spending over £30 in food.

In addition to your comment. We was informed there was a skewer of each. There were no whole pieces of chicken or lamb just the Adanna. The other pieces were so small and informed that there was a skewer set of each item. Which there wasn’t. We also also asked if it would be enough to share and told that it should be and bought an additional sausage as well to...
