Booked a table for 4 o’clock Mother’s Day Sunday buffet. Wasn’t seated till 4:10 as the table was still occupied. When we were finally seated wasn’t asked what drinks we want just told we had an hour left of the buffet which was very nice I should add. Asked if I could order some drink and to see a drinks menu after getting someone’s attention by this time it was about 4:20. We all went and got starters and mains which was very nice then was told about 4:45 we have 5 minutes to get anything else as the buffet was closing. I understand the buffet closes at 5 but don’t seat someone late then expect them to have shorter time due to your error.

When booking online the Sunday buffet was advertised at a set price for adults and children. Even when we clicked on the Mother’s Day Sunday buffet it didn’t have any other price. It was also advertised on Facebook which I clicked the link and no price difference advertised for Mother’s Day. When the bill came, normal Sunday buffet is £14.50 per adult but today was £21.50 if I had known this I would have just ordered from the normal menu as it would have...

We visited here tonight, and I have to say, this is one of the worst restaurants I've been to in a while. The customer service was awful, our order was incorrect and instead of taking it back and correcting it, the waiter gave us a gravy sauce to pour over a dry curry, when I mentioned this wasn't acceptable and sent it back, we waited over 10 minutes, by which the naan's had gotten cold and everyone was quite put off. The waiter was rude, clearly he hates his job and isn't interested, no apology, no smile no nothing. On top of that, the bill was a whopping £140 for a terrible meal, no compensation and no apology. The food in general is quite bland and awful tasting, coupled with the attrocious customer service, will not return, even if the meal were for free. Do yourself a favour and avoid, and find a decent...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at S3 after an extended absence, and I must say, it has surpassed my expectations. The culinary experience here is truly exceptional, with a depth of flavour in their curries that stands out as one of the finest I've encountered in quite some time.

I would rate this better than Moghuls Sidcup in my opinion and this is now my new curry house.

I also had the privilege of interacting with Sam, the head of the team, who provided impeccable service and ensured our visit was nothing short of outstanding.

In summary, Shampan 3 has truly established itself as the new Moghul in the world of fine dining. It is an establishment that offers a remarkable gastronomic experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience in the realm of...

I've tried many Indian restaurants in my time but Shampan is BY FAR the best and most delicious Indian I have ever eaten. Usually we order a takeaway but today decided to eat in and it was even better. Delicious food and lovely service. I asked if there were any Indian desserts on the menu as I couldn't see any listed, there wasn't, but the owner went to the kitchen and brought me and my partner out freshly made gulab jamun (which were made fresh for the staff) absolutely amazing, would recommend and we give Shampan 5*. Oh and we were even offered complementary drinks. We'll be back!

My son took me for a birthday meal on a Friday early evening. The decor is beautiful. The waiters are very attentive. My son raves about this place and I thought the food would be better. Don’t get me wrong, it is not bad. I just needed some more oomph. The naan is delicious. It is fluffy and light. The tandoori chicken was moist and tasty. The chicken passanda was above average. The rice was good. I didn’t like my spinach. The lamb in the lamb Bhuna was chewy. The chicken tikka masala was fine. I did enjoy my time there. And I enjoyed the leftovers for breakfast.
