We used to go here almost every other time for Indian street food, but its shocking how terrible they are..and disgusting. Being a Indian chaat food fan this place offered some good options which reminded me of college days.. hence we used to go here often even though the ambience and cleanliness was slightly compromised. The idli they served us were undercooked so when i brought this to their attention they said they had made some at the same time and ate it themselves and didn't find it that way..so I showed him a piece and then he agreed it was undercooked, we had already waited for over 40mins and had consumed our other food...they said they couldn't cancel the order but can replace it. It was for my baby..so I agreed. They took away our previous order with the 2 pieces intact untouched, and 1 which they checked.. just the 2 pieces had a little sambar from the plate that it was placed in. We waited for another 10mins and they packed the idlis for us to take away, they had told me they would be adding the sambar etc. I reached home and decided to feed baby. What do I see?no sambar was packed or Chutney and worse thing was the same undercooked iddlis are packed and I only knew coz it was the 2 pieces that had the exact same sambar(they must have steamed them a little more)... I mean seriously.. what terrible service and on top of that instead of rectifying thier mistake they made it worse!there are far better places out there.. Sarvanah bhavan, SKVP etc.. no one treats people this way! Should really...
Read moreWent in to get paneer rolls for takeaway. When I opened at home, jokers packed rolls with only onion, carot and sweetcorn with absolutely no paneer. Called joker who said there is paneer inside and he personally saw to it. Told joker I will send photo to review. To advertise one thing and to give the customer another and then to try and fool customer saying there is paneer in there is absolutely ridiculous. When joker challenged he finally said come and get next time. I do not care about the money it was only a little. My daughter loves paneer rolls so was looking forward to the rolls. What I did not expect is absolute joker customer service and deception in claiming there was paneer in there when there clearly was not. To advertise one thing and give another and then try and say it had paneer sums up this place. Absolute joke. Go somewhere else there are plently of other nice places around where your custom is valued and you get what you ordered. Unfortunately I have to give a one star but I really wanted to give a zero for...
Read moreFinding good vada pav outside India can be hit or miss, but Sri Sai Vada Pav really delivers the real deal. As someone who genuinely loves street food with flavour and soul, this place hit all the right notes.
The vada pav here is simple, just like it should be — a crispy, golden vada with a fluffy, slightly toasted bun, lashings of chutney, and that essential dry garlic masala for that extra kick. The vada itself was perfectly spiced: warm, soft on the inside, with a satisfying crunch on the outside.
I also appreciated that they don’t skimp on portions or flavour — it's the kind of snack that instantly takes you back to Mumbai’s bustling streets, but still feels fresh and clean.
Service was fast and friendly, and while the setup is no-frills, it works — you come here for the food, and it more than delivers.
If you’re craving authentic Indian street food, especially as a vegetarian, Sri Sai Vada Pav is absolutely worth a stop. Affordable, satisfying, and packed with flavour — I’ll definitely be coming...
