Smacks Thornton Heath — Restaurant in London

Tiktok made me do it.. visited @smacksburgers I was in the area and could not leave without checking out this spot 😏 .. Upon entering the store was very clean and gave me archies vibes with all the pink.. I was served by Sam, who was really friendly and had 10/10 customer service 👊🏽 couldn’t fault him.

They take card and cash 💷 .. more pick up and eat in car vibes or order, however they do have a few seat in options. They also offer to bring the food in to the car of you if you pre order saving you going inside and can come straight to your car. ( On a main road however parking on side road around 2 minutes away or park in Iceland and walk up 5 minute walk if that)

I ordered the spicy chicken burger meal which is a Seeded bun, fried chicken fillet, smacks sauces, spicy sauce, lettuce. I wanted to get the criss cross fries but they was sold out 😧 so just got normal fries, must be nice! All together cost £6.24, I got extra cheese on the burger too.

The Food was honestly 10/10, and I actually can’t fault the place for the food, the special smacks sauce in the burger really made it stick out from all the other burger spots in London… they also give such a large portion of friends unlike other takeaways who give the bare minimum, I would defiantly recommend this place to visit, would I go back YES need to try out the smashed burger next and also the criss cross fries.

I have been there three times since it opened and maybe it's my luck but the service has been very poor so far, very slow with wrong orders given etc..cheese burger was very dry, looks like it has been on the station far too long...Had some wings which were very skinny and overdried as well..the Smack Down burger i had was not bad but very small for the price and the fries is too thin as well, if they want to know what are perfect fries just go to chicken world opposite, they have the best fries and better portion . Smack sauce station is always really messy , sauces dripping from the taps onto the station, they could at least put a tissue underneath them...will give it a try again few more times and see whether they improve otherwise won't go there again...I am giving constructive criticism for them to improve and i am not just complaining for the sake of complaining...I was happy when i found out they will be opening soon since we need something different to all the chicken shops we have already in Thornton Heath, but it has been a very big...

Went to Smacks last night for the first time after seeing the Instagram hype. I’m from east london and have had my fair share of smash burgers so was skeptical it would live up. I ordered the smackdown, crisscross fries.

The smash burger was perfect. A crips, even sear on the outside, succulent juicy beef on the inside. Was seasoned properly. The sauce, pickle, and onion ratio is exactly what you want- nothing was too overpowering and complemented each other.

The criss cross fries were heavenly- being more of an American side dish, was pleased to see them in the UK finally, and executed well. Crunchy, golden and well seasoned with spices. They serve it with their own creamy spicy sauce which was irresistable with the hot fries. I recommend requesting it.

Overall, a great addition to south london food scene, they will be a force to be reckoned with for...
