Dinners Delight Cafe — Restaurant in London

Absolutely fantastic cafe, very reasonably priced. Food was served up quickly, lady who served us was very helpful - didn't need to pay before we ate, ordered, food served and polished off and paid when we left. The food itself was good, nice and hot, well presented. Although this placed would be classed as a 'greasy spoon' there are none..place was clean, asked to use the toilets, very clean inside. Food was nice, but the waitress really let the place down. She added things to our order that were not asked for and overcharged us, refused to accept that she had made a mistake despite when the food was brought out, despite the whole table hearing the order, and then made her colleague bring the correct food out. She was really confrontational and rude. There was also no mention of refunding the items we were overcharged for. It's a shame because we did enjoy the food but won't be...

Used to be my 'go to' place to have a once-a-week breakfast, but prices are now so shocking. I'd actually rather go into Croydon and save a few bob. It's a shame really, as it's my local, but then again, it's nothing special. A word regarding wheelchair access: Yes, there's almost certainly some fat 'disabled' person overspending their benefits money (paid for by hard working taxpayers like me)...
