Costa Coffee Thornton Heath — Restaurant in London

I would say I loved it but I'd be lying. The coffee was good as always, a little bit shocked that I had to pay 45p extra for lactose free milk but only because I didn't know it wasn't free but soya milk is so not all bad. I appreciate places like Costa Coffee as I can take my laptop in use the Wi-Fi and get on with whatever I want to get on with. I guess what stops this experience from getting five stars is the fact that the door glass was broken and during my 2 hours, there was a guy and his son or young colleague putting protective film over it so the door was open the whole time. Today evening at 1700h i went to this costa and Maggie who was in the serving counter offered my coffee like the first image. Then i asked why it is like this she said she can prepare another one and gave a coffee as second photo. She had chocolate powder with her because the same moment she put for some other coffee but when i asked she said she dont have. I said i dont need a coffee like this for nice evening i would like a refund then I was surprised to see her attitude towards me. She is very destructive to have on a storefront. Today I walked into this "establishment", simply for a tea something to warm me up before my journey. I asked for the tea and the girl behind the counter proceeded to make the tea without any regard for me whatsoever. She also decided to have a conversation with her colleague whilst rubbing her dirty fingers around the rim of the cup and the lid. The girl had her back to me whilst she gave me the tea and carried on with her conversation. After this I went to get some sugar and the area was ABSOLUTELY FILTHY with spilt sugar and drink stains.
