Spoon & Rice Wembley — Restaurant in London

This place is easily one of my go-to’s, first time I had food here it was like I saw stars, I was instantly a fan. The chicken Juander combo is easily my favorite. The fried chicken is crispy and juicy with a slight sweetness, while the grilled chicken is tender and the sauce provides an extra layer of flavor. The veggies are crisp and are the perfect way to cut through the oil-rich and heavy chicken and rice. Really feels like a well rounded meal. Also as a fan of iced tea, C2 is LEAGUES above many of the brands available in the UK, the apple one is my personal favorite.

Unfortunately this specific meal I had, the chicken juander was cold when I got it. But that was not enough to deter me. The food was still class, and I devoured the meal, not a crumb left. I would still easily rate this place as high as I did.

I have never had an issue with customer service and out of all the Boxpark restaurants I really recommend coming here over many of the overrated expensive...

While the food is great, customer service is the worst !!!!

I came at 12:00 pm and the store was fairly free, as usually gets busy only during the evening. So I wait to place the order and the guy working there takes around 4 minutes to take my order as he was the one cooking too ….. i place the order at 12:01 pm and he says it will be 15 minutes, I did explain that I have to do shopping quickly and that I will be back in 20 minutes giving him extra 5 minutes to do the job.

I arrive back after 24 minutes and he says the food needs extra 5 minutes.. I wait and then he tries to convince me to change my order to another order he already cooked and was not picked up …

I was super annoyed as I need to go back to work and asked for a refund.

He did not even say sorry or any remorse of care.

Horrible experience as I wasted my time waiting and they did not even cook my food or even care to say sorry for that.

Won’t be back here...

I went to Spoon and Rice at Boxpark extra early before a concert, hoping to grab a good meal. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a very disappointing experience. I waited an hour just to place my order and then another hour to finally receive my food. There were only two people working in the kitchen and two at the counter, which was nowhere near enough for such a busy day, I would have expected at least double the staff.

When the food finally arrived, it wasn’t even up to their usual standard. The rice was undercooked, and the meat was already dry, clearly rushed to keep up with the demand. I’ve enjoyed Spoon and Rice on several occasions in the past, but this time was truly underwhelming. A real letdown, especially considering the long wait and the quality I know they’re capable...
