Star Burger Battersea — Restaurant in London

ok, where to begin... Yesterday I bought some fish there, it was good, I was looking forward to leave a stellar review for this place. Today I came back to get a half pounder and fries, the menu, which is displayed outside clearly says: £3.00 without a chips, £4,50 with chips. Owner asks me for £4.99. I don't mind £0,5 extra (obviously), I was ready to order,- but then he insults me saying in very unpleasant manner- "you are blind! It says £4.99." I am saying softly "It says £4,50, not £4.99, I am not blind". He produces another menu from behind the counter and shows it to me. Than menu of his clearly says £4,50 as well (!) At this point he was cussing me, shouting on me, insultin me, closing his window and telling me to get out! Way to treat paying Customers. Little bald man (the owner) is clearly out of his mind! Or on some heavy drugs. I have never experienced anything like this before. If I am wrong or the price has changed recently, just explain to me, like normal person! Not insult me, I was treating you with respect. Very strange, unpleasant and insulting. i would definitely suggest to anyone to stay away from this mad...

Absolutely Amazing Experience!

My family had the pleasure of dining at this lovely spot and honestly, everything exceeded my expectations. First of all, the owner is truly one of the kindest and most welcoming people I’ve met. He made us feel right at home from the moment we walked in — such genuine hospitality is rare these days eventhough we are foreigner.

The place itself is spotless. Clean tables, clean floors, clean everything. You can really tell he care about hygiene and comfort. It is really impressive because the owner is a one man army and do all the work.

And the food? Incredible. The portions are huge — we were so full! The chips were crispy and hot, the salad fresh, and the mains were delicious. Whether it’s the burger, the roast chicken, or the traditional pie with beans, everything was seasoned just right and served with heart.

If you’re ever in the area, do yourself a favor and drop by. This is more than just a meal — it’s a genuinely heartwarming experience. We will miss you when we come back...

After living in Battersea for about a year, I have only increased the amount I visit Starburger. Food is always cooked very very well and it is the perfect place for a sunday fry up as well as a quick and cheap dinner late after work. The place is cared for by owners who genuinely love the place and this shows, through the service, the food and of course... the decor. It is in pristine condition and star burger in my opinion is a lot more hygienic than some great restaurants in central. I cannot recommend this place enough for those looking for good food, served with a smile in a great...
