Terrible Customer Service – Staff Needs Training!

I have been a loyal customer at this Starbucks for the past four years, but after my recent experience, I am beyond disappointed. I ordered a Strawberry Frappuccino and specifically requested less ice, which was done. However, after taking one sip, I found it unbearably sweet and sour at the same time—clearly, too many strawberry shots were added, completely throwing off the taste. It was obvious that the drink was not made correctly, as the standard recipe was not followed.

When I politely addressed the issue on the spot and requested a redo, Shrikant, the staff member, responded with extreme rudeness. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or offering to remake the drink, he treated me as if I was being unreasonable for simply asking for a properly made beverage. His dismissive attitude was unacceptable. I am well aware of Starbucks’ policy—if a customer is dissatisfied with their drink, they are entitled to have it remade. I followed all procedures, remained respectful, yet was met with nothing but hostility.

To make matters worse, rather than remaking the drink as per policy, he insisted on giving me a refund, forcing me to leave empty-handed while my friends enjoyed their orders. It was embarrassing and disrespectful.

As a long-time customer and a neighbor, I expect better service. The staff at this location desperately needs proper training on both customer service and Starbucks’ policies. This kind of treatment is unacceptable, and if it continues, they risk losing loyal customers...

This Starbucks has been my local for over three years now and it is my favourite place to go.

The staff here are just absolutely wonderful, they are so considerate and go out of their way to make your day. Always extremely polite and ready to start your day with a smile. The team are so accommodating, knowing my regular drink and are very attentive to my regular visits.

This store is a small piece of calm in a chaotic area, a perfect place to work and meet with friends.

Worst Starbucks I’ve been to! My drink is NEVER done right. They always “forget” or more like don’t care. And I don’t mean forget one little detail, if I ask for 5 things, I receive none of them or maybe 1 if I’m lucky. If I ask for 1 thing, I don’t receive it at all. What’s the point of having options on the menu if you can’t do them. Do you even look at what’s written on the cup? Or just do whatever you feel like?

I really tried because it’s the only starbucks nearby, but I won’t be coming anymore....
