I am from Italy (British parents) but two workplaces ago we had a Starbucks so I discovered it there and I liked it. But it turns out Starbucks stores are a lot different from a simple licensing agreement with an office coffee cafe.
The whole naming thing is weird and a little uncomfortable and I think this is an American thing, nowhere in the UK will a chain ask for your name it's weird, all the sizes for some odd reason are in Italian, when you don't typically order sizes of drinks in Italy, it's always a beer, a cappucino, a coffee. We don't order small or large coffees ( a coffee is always small, a cappucino is whatever the hell size a cappucino cup is; for foreigners - it's a bit like an enlarged teacup) so it just feels a bit pretentious and it felt very unnatural saying 'Could I have a grande cappucino' (would be cappucino grande anyway, to be grammatically correct).
Plus - we were the only two people in there (myself and my cousin), it's not like you're going to forget who ordered. Anyway, most popular coffee chain in the world; but not for me, sorry.
With that said, the staff were lovely outside of the Starbucks script and sod the other review that says they're unprofessional and unprepared at 6:30am. If you want that coffee machine to be hot when they're open, then ask HQ to pay them for clocking in 15 mins early and they will; as it stands, they aren't paid to clock in early, American franchise corporate are just evil; so...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Starbucks and was fortunate enough to be served by Natasha and Nisha, whose exceptional customer service truly stood out. From the moment I walked in, they both greeted me with warm smiles and genuine enthusiasm, instantly making me feel welcome.
Natasha was incredibly attentive, taking the time to ensure my order was just right, and even offering helpful suggestions that made my experience even better. Her positive energy and dedication to providing a memorable experience were evident in every interaction.
Nisha was equally impressive, handling the busy environment with grace and efficiency while still making each customer feel like a priority. She maintained a cheerful demeanor and went out of her way to ensure that my drink was perfect, even checking in to see if I was satisfied.
Together, Natasha and Nisha created an atmosphere that was both friendly and professional. Their teamwork, attention to detail, and genuine care for their customers made my visit one of the best Iâve ever had at Starbucks. I truly appreciate the effort they put into making each customer feel special and valued.
Thank you, Natasha and Nisha, for turning a simple coffee run into such a delightful experience. You both are a credit to Starbucks, and I look forward to...
Read moreWe love Starbucks coffee. When we saw this store opened at our neighbourhood, we wanted to visit. Finally today we went. Store got many parking spaces, easy to park here. Store looks nice and plenty of seating area. Tables were slightly dirty, felt not cleaned the table properly after previous customer left. Similar to other reviews, we also found many students using seating area and busy in laptops. Wi-fi is very fast. Staffs are friendly. But most important thing was coffee, which we didnât enjoy at all. We ordered salted caramel and cold brew. We tried same coffee at other Starbucks and clearly got the taste of salted caramel. Here it tasted like cold coffee. when told to the staff - they added some more caramel but disappointed to see still taste no where close to other Starbucks stores. Also, surprisingly they donât allow to pay using Starbucks card which is also reported earlier by another person. At the moment itâs not worth trying here. Significant improvement needed in the coffee taste - mix right ingredients at correct quantity to bring real Starbucks...
