Teddy Bear Bubble Tea Hillingdon — Restaurant in London

As soon as you enter the shop you get greeted by smiling and enthusiastic staff, there is simply no way not to smile back. They have a wide range of flavours, most of them I haven’t seen anywhere else, the tea itself tastes great and the bubbles (juice balls) are fantastic, they’re fairly firm so it’s even more fun popping them and they don’t pop by themselves in the cup as easily. I got watermelon fruit tea with apple and strawberry bubbles. Their straws are paper which I was concerned about as they usually change shape pretty fast but those didn’t, not even slightly - it kept its shape and firmness until the end. I’m glad they could find an environmentally friendly but also functional alternative to plastic. My only concern was that the bubbles don’t come with the fruit tea, you have to pay 60p for them and if you want extra it adds up to over a pound and just like that the price gets higher than that of competitors. My brother ordered our drinks for us. My honey peach fruit tea drink had some black sediment/particulates at the bottom. Never had a problem with Teddy Bear before, but this was a bit worrying, was afraid to finish the drink as it was thin black particulates at the bottom and I didn't know if they were drinkable or not. Everyone else ordered Oreo Brown Sugar bubble tea with no problems, but mine was the only 'clear' one with very noticable black sediment.

EDIT: Teddy Bear responded swiftly, assuring me that it was tea leaves, love the company and the service they provided as well as the assurance....

I was there yesterday just as it got very very busy. Uber, just eat, and Deliveroo drivers coming in and out whilst a queue was building around the corner outside.

The staff worked diligently and called for help from other staff. Kayleigh seemed to be front of house trying her best to fulfill orders and speak to disgruntled customers and delivery drivers at the same time.
