I recently dined at Sublime restaurant and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! Their chicken is perfectly cooked and seasoned, truly a standout on the menu. The sirloin steak was tender, juicy, and packed with flavour, while the fresh salmon was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious.

I also loved their homemade burgers, which include a fantastic vegan option that even meat lovers would enjoy. Their pizza was delightful, with a crisp crust and fresh toppings, and the calamari was cooked to perfection—not too chewy, just right. Lastly, the spaghetti was a comforting, classic dish with just the right balance of flavours.

Sublime was recommended by the hotel reception person where we were staying. It was about a 15 minute walk from the hotel and they were open after 9pm for us to get something to eat.

It's not very big, but it's comfortable and the service is good and quick, we were eating late that might have helped. They do pizza, burgers and other food on the menu. They cater for vegans and vegetarians. We wanted something quick we both had the burger and fries 🍟. I had pineapple juice and my partner had a glass of red wine.

The food came quickly, we shared a bowl of fries, which was enough for both of us. No complaints the burgers were well done with added garnish, with no tomato on mine.

I wanted to love this place. It’s great to have a local, independently owned restaurant on your doorstep. I think the owner is friendly and welcoming and he owns the other cafe over the road which is nice, however the food and atmosphere here was particularly lacking. There’s no Italian feel to the pizzeria, the menu is badly written and the food is just not that great.

We ordered a lasagne and margherita pizza, two dishes that are quite easy to make yet somehow they were disappointing.

Moreover, the venue used to be owned by Volare, which went bankrupt yet the branding is still in this restaurant now, which is odd.
