On this occasion I came here with my daughter the service was awful!. Firstly we sat down, servers passed as a few times but just ignored us. We were given no menu, we sat for 15min before I decided to go up & complain “why are we not being served” a nice lady then came but by that time I was quite upset. So only ordered a hot chocolate for LO. Then I thought we’ll I’m here then ordered a main meal halloumi wrap with a cocktail. The food came first very greasy & not very nice, then again sitting waiting for my drink!?!?. Again I had to ask after some time “where is my drink!?”, 10min later it was brought to me, which I said “think it’s too late now” pointing to child late evening. Woman was like “sorry we busy what can I do only 3 staff”. However as I had time to wait I watched the other people’s service, which looked orderly & timely!. Guess we was taken an instant dislike off. Daughter didn’t finish hot chocolate she said “it was cold”. Then another incident with the staff but I’ll leave that out 🙄. Today I had a really bad evening at this place after a lovely day. I definitely won’t be returning!! Which is a shame because it is a Nice setting and over looking Finsbury Park where we love but just cannot risk This experience again especially with the money you...

My visit to London was made even more special finding this little gem of a Bistro. I was greeted with a warm welcome and told to sit wherever I pleased. The outside is very deceiving as you persume its small. When you walk in the main room is big, modern with a Mediterranean feel. They also have a large seating area outside overlooking the park. Which is very pretty unfortunately the weather was too cool to sit outside. I ordered the set 1 breakfast and changed a couple of items to my liking poached instead of fried egg. Brown toast instead of white. The older gentleman said that was no problem and swiftly left and returned with my hot drink. I didnt have to wait long for my breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with size and presentation. Everything was piping hot just how I like my food to be served. This place is very clean you can tell pride is taken in the business. The prices were very reasonable and the staff were all nice. Really glad I found this lovely place and look forward to returning on my next...

My Mum and dad have been using this cafe for many years and have always been treated like family during their visit. My mum hadn’t been for quite a while since losing my dad, today we made a return visit and I was introduced to the fabulous staff who greeted my mum like family yet again. Such a lovely family run business that has a penchant for making you feel welcome. Fabulous, huge and tasty portions that fill the plates and beautifully presented. Staff were attentive without being over bearing. Beautiful surroundings set just inside the park. Today it was warm enough to sit out in the extended outdoors area, set out in a Mediterranean style setting charmed with a parrot aviary. Sit back and relax and enjoy the feeling of being whisked away and forget that you’re really in a very busy area of Manor House. Children are most welcome and accommodated for with a mini menu and a small enclosed play area. Absolutely charming, very affordable eatery that leaves you with special memories. Most definitely...

The place has a spacious garden with lots of various seating options and is dog friendly. Coffees were up to standard. Both the chicken and halloumi wraps with chips were enjoyable. Service was ok. The toilet is in quite a bad state both regarding cleanliness and its state. No online accessible menu to check prior visiting. The owner should also check their Google account since the business shows as offering hotel accommodation, that also means that when customers write a review google asks questions like: Was your trip for business/pleasure?; How would you rate the rooms? Would you rate the hotel as romantic/quiet/luxury/kid-friendly? I tried to look into edits, but it seems there is something wrong with the booking link or some other hidden settings. Once this is fixed, reviews will offer more accurate information. I'm not very overwhelmed by the overall experience. However, the place is definitely unique, and I can see why some people do enjoy coming here.

Good food but poor atmosphere as the streets were busy but restaurant was practically empty. We had some chicken nuggets to share which were delicious and tender on good point definitely having those again another time. The poor review comes from the accidental service...it look as if the staff lacked some trainning as before even seating they ask us for drinks. We had a 7up and an apple juice...well they serve me apple juice like in a brik for kids instead of on a proper glass. Then they put ice in my glass without asking me whether I wanted It and left the two glasses on my table unnecessary. It's q pity how such a beautiful place with excellent cheff seems to have such a poor and amateur service. I wonder if that's the reason for such local reputation. Disappointing.
