Sunrise Cafe — Restaurant in London

Walked into a completely empty cafe to order two coffees to take away. I was charged £5 I said I’ll pay by card, I was informed that it’s a cash only shop so there will be a 50 pence charge. It’s just a swindle because no one goes there anymore, no wonder. I said that that was ridiculous and that he has lost another customer to which he replied “good luck”. I really don’t understand some people. I definitely won’t return to pay £2.50 for a coffee plus bank...

So it’s that debate of lunch or brunch unfortunately I chose to have a fry up at sunrise. The service is non existent but it’s a cafe can’t expect much to be fair... The food was mediocre at best genuinely wish I made a fry up at home . Didn’t ask how I wanted my eggs or bacon nor did I tell them in their deference . The best thing about this place was the price would rather pay a bit more and have. A bit more service and options food...

Great Cafe! Just had a refurbishment and looks so nice! Ample seating and wonderful new garden dining area. Portions are very generous and varied menu with specials board! Usually have breakfast here on Saturday mornings! Can definitely recommend for every meal or even just for a relaxing coffee/tea.
