Urban Baristas — Restaurant in London

I'm getting occasionally a coffee from here. It's a good thing they open early in the morning, so I grab a coffee between 6.30 - 7 am. I'm driving, and this is the only time I can park on the street for a quick detour since there is not much traffic. The coffee shop serves a speciality coffee, which is pretty good. The first time I bought from here a year ago, I specified with the barista that it's 100% arabica medium roast. Today, I've had one with some energy bites, and all was delicious. Consistent cappuccino foam with tasty background coffee notes, no signs of burnt coffee. Clearly, they wash the coffee machine. Otherwise, it would taste too bitter. The barista was in a fine mood, I can't relate to any negative feedback left here....

I do like speciality coffee and knowing these guys do good coffee. I went in today to grab a coffee however lady was talking with her customer and they just went on and on and on... she only had 2 coffee's in her hand! Excuse me you can see I'm waiting at least have an eye contact to acknowledge me. I waited approx 4-6 minutes and then walked off and yet she was still talking with the customer. Yes it's good to talk to your customers but you need to remember your in a station you got to be quick! It was a dissapointing service where I left with...

I used to LOVE their mocha! Literally the best one I've tried. But alas a recent change to their recipe (from real chocolate to syrup) has completely changed the drink :( It's just not the same!

I've asked for real chocolate a few times and I've been lucky to have a few really friendly barista's sneak in a few chocolate buttons ;) but I think my luck has run out as a recent encounter wanted me to rat out which barista did this for me...

It's a real shame as I'll have to start getting my mocha's from...
