Tandoori Nights — Restaurant in London

If people look at google reviews this is the 3rd 1 star review in the last 3 weeks so it is not just me that thinks they have gone downhill Ordered food at 18.50pm this evening 2 hours later it was delivered I have used this restaurant for around 12 years. Recently both the quality and service have both gone downhill it went from being one of the best indian restaurants to an below average restaurant as in this seems to now be a common issue with delivery as I made another order around a month before which took around the same time to be delivered and the quality and amount of food recieved lately was not very good portion sizes seem to have drastically decreased and the kormas and rice tasted cheap like a bad quality supermaket microwave curry.The company emails addresses just bounce back at you when you try to give them feedback so I called and spoke to the manager Asher who did not take things seriously and laughed at me when I complained and told me that they are really busy and the still use the same chef and ingredients so just to give...

Phoned up for a takeaway as they are my local and want to support local business Placed my order and Advised ready in 20 mins I arrived within 10 mins so happily stood outside waiting. After 20 mins waiting outside I knocked on the door no answer , then waited a few mins and looked through the windows and tapped on the window , no answer , tried phoning and was engaged waited another 15 mins , tapped on the window again still no answer , no one had been in or out during all this time and food was clearly being prepared as your could smell it in the air ,but no one answered . I eventually left after 50 mins no food , no call to say your order is ready where are you ? It used to be very good but clearly in the current climate they are unable to serve food even though they are happy to take your order and ware your time I’ll order from Uber eats or deliveroo next time and won’t give them my business...

This place is shockingly bad. When ordering food the waiter wouldn’t let us order starters first without ordering the mains, and I know why now because we would’ve walked out after the starters if we hadn’t ordered mains. When we got our starters they were pathetically small. We got a vegetarian platter, it was one paneer cube, one mini samosa, and one onion bhaji. The mix grill was three chicken pieces, one kebab, one chicken leg, and one lamb chop for £11.50. So what it seems is that everything on the menu is individual dishes and we were never made aware of this. The main dishes were even more of a joke, cheap ingredients and awful tasting. I could go on but trust me, avoid this place. Mother’s Day meal ruined. Also the bill was really expensive in the end for not much food between us....
