I went here this evening. Lovely spot, very nice atmosphere, clean and the two members of staff were both very attentive. Great. Lovely wine list, perhaps a touch pricey, but acceptable for a venue that's aiming to be a bit upper end. However food let itself down. We ordered the pitta and hummus and baba ghanoush dips. Pita was lovely, freshly toasted and warm, delicious. Hummus... okay only. A tad dry, crying out for a drizzle of olive oil over it. Baba ghanoush was diabolical, perhaps jar bought from a store, and that, considering there is a middle Eastern deli with beautiful baba ghanoush only 4 doors away, and that you're in an area drenched with wonderful middle Eastern restaurants and stores - is unforgivable. Next, the cheeseboard. 3 delicious and fresh cheeses, tasty crackers, some added seeded bread. However, no pickles/gherkins of any sort. And the oddest thing, mango chutney with a hint of curry in it was the chutney they provided on the board - yuk. Absolutely did not pair with the cheeses and felt like they sent a 12yr old to go get "any chutney for the cheeses". I mean Waitrose is across the road, so easy for them to go get some onion chutney or any chutney that is actually meant for cheese. So, 3 out of 5 stars until this baby grows...

Read moreWhat a great place! We've gone here for monthly wine tastings as well as drinks and dinner. They have good wine and great staff. The friendliness and helpfulness of the employees really stands out, especially in London where service often suffers. They have a lot of wines by the glass and bottle (they're also a wine shop) and even though the food menu is limited, we enjoyed the cheese and charcuterie and thought the portions were generous. We'll...
