Tartine Artisanal Tooting Broadway — Restaurant in London

The worst place u can go to to have a breakfast, Im very disappointed totally about the restaurant and food as well. I choose this place because 1, it's halal place and it's really difficult to find a halal breakfast restaurant in London. 2, one of my friend recommended the place to have an north African breakfast

The restaurant : The concept is nice but it was not anything more than idea. The restaurant is full of broken stuff as forme of "antique" I'm sorry to put in this way that half if not all of the stuff needed to be thrown in the rubbish Using used can of harissa to put forks and knives and tissues is not something nice and it's not healthy as well . It made the place like an old trush bin. Dirt, dirt, dirt every where 😔 The food : I ordred morroccan tea an I was so excited to have it after a long time. But it was a disappointment. Using a very bad quality it makes the taste go wrong as much as you invest to make it better. I ordred a full breakfast the mushrooms are oily and not seasoned at all. The eggs the same as well. No seasoning Two toasts for the full breakfast 😏 The cake was nice and tasty... My expectations are blown away by the end of...

So I went here with my husband and son based on the reviews, my husband ordered a full English and I had a wrap with fries and I had ordered a fried egg and fries for my son. Firstly the food came out way too quickly to have been freshly cooked from scratch and it was barely warm, I’m actually surprised even the fries were slightly warm secondly my husband asked for a yolky egg but IT WASNT EVEN COOKED! When he asked for it to be re-cooked he was responded with.. but I asked you how you wanted your egg and you said yolky!?!? He said well I didn’t want it raw!?!? It was clearly visible that it wasn’t cooked!!! In addition my sons food came with toast that we hadn’t even ordered?? Considering my son doesn’t eat large portions this was not necessary and not ordered I wouldn’t return here and would not recommend to anyone that likes to go to a cafe/restaurant and have freshly cooked food.. I would have gone home and just cooked my own food if I knew this place was going to be like this.....

Just been told i could not have eggs benedict because tbey had no boiling water!!! Seriously?? This is ridiculous... you can boil water in the damn pan, if u dont want to do it just say the truth. This was the chef in charge!! I am a regular not just here but also in the old balham branch, no more... that s why balham closed maybe, heard that kitchen and conditions were disgusting, also tooting branch keeps loosing starts in health and safety reviews... very pissed at this!!!! As a restaurant manager myself and making sure guests get well looked after, and also in previous occasions with other chefs i was always served well and even served my eggs after the menu hours, i am furious at this!!...
