Don't ever go to this place...

I ordered one Lamb Mandhi each with my friend. As a person who had authentic Mandhi before , when I ordered the food , i asked the restaurant manager, whether the Mandhi is cooked in authentic way. I specifically told him, if you are giving the same rice for the chicken and lamb, I don't need it. He replied that they do it the authentic way. I again asked him, can we trust you, he assured me , it is authentic Mandhi.

But when we we had the Mandhi, we were shocked. The rice had no flavour of lamb, it was definitely the same rice they use for chicken and all the other dishes. The portion of rice was too low that even a small child wouldn't feel full after eating that. I asked the staff for little extra rice. He said he will bring, we waited for 10 minutes, he never came back. This was totally unacceptable. The manager or the owner of business lied to us that Mandhi was cooked authentic, staff totally ignore our request.

And Adding to that the we paid £30, for a small portion, thats too much expensive.

This restaurant doesnt even deserve one star. The manager is an untrustworthy person,lying about the dishes.

Went in recently for a dinner and the food was okay but must I say the service and the employees were terrible. Let me list out exactly what happened. So my younger sister left her scarf somewhere and my mum came the next day to ask for it, and I realised as we were leaving the same man had been standing near where we sat. Now tell me why one of the employees (that looks around 40 years old and is a bit tall) is talking on the phone and my mum kept knocking on the glass door to see if he would open the door to let her look if my sisters scarf was there. He literally ignored her and then after some time he let her step in. And literally only one step in. He told my mum that the employees cleaned everything and how nothing was found and when my mum asked if he could check again he told her “makan wala shay ana goltlek ani saïm”. As someone that knows what that means it’s completely rude as how could you deny a customer to check for themselves and not even say sorry. This is a small take out place, but big on taste and customer service. I am a Shawarma fan and I found the best place that makes the “Yummiest and juiciest Shawarma” ever . The cook and server Mohammed was gracious, warm and friendly. With a charming smile he shyly accepted my compliments with humility. It was clear he loves his job and takes pride in it. He was pleased to see my family; first time London travelers revisit him 2 days in a row to enjoy Shawarma. Menu has a variety of options worth checking out. Decor is simple with scattered pictures of famous Lebanese and Syrian film stars . The sitting area is very clean and the floors are spotless.. Talk to the crew; they are a happy and friendly bunch who love a break to partake in a little chit chat provided they are not busy filling their numerous orders. The store is located in Shepards Bush; a few minutes walking distance from the Underground Shepards Bush Station. Definitely a place for a sit down meal or take out...
