Tex Ann — Restaurant in London

Came here to eat with my sister after passing by and noticing it from the Instagram ads i always get. Sat down with high hopes and ordered a philly cheese steak since it looked great in the picture. Food took long but it wasn’t a problem, they do need to sort out something with the door though because every time it opened the place went cold. We got the food and my sandwich was wrapped up. I unwrap it and the first thing i see is purple, slimy onion in this under baked soft bun. Everything was covered in this peppery garlic mayo and this cheese that seemed to be liquid. I took a bite and all i got was mushroom and onion, and the mushrooms tasted weirdly eggy. The next bite i finally got a piece of meat, but it was so chewy and over cooked that I instantly spat it out. I opened the sandwich up to get rid of some of the mushrooms but it still tasted eggy (keep in mind i like mushrooms. I didn’t not like the sandwich because of pickiness, it was just made really badly). Didn’t bother to ask for another one because they seemed busy and I didn’t want to wait any longer. Tex Ann in Harrow is hands down one of the best places to eat if you’re looking for amazing flavour, friendly service, and great value. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by warm, polite staff who make you feel like a regular, even on your first visit. The place is spotless – you can tell they take pride in keeping it clean and welcoming.

Perhaps the best burgers in Harrow.... However anyone who is saying these are the best burgers in London surely hasn't ventured out of Harrow. Gourmet halal burgers have popped up all across London.

Tex Ann are definitely NOT up there with the higher quality burger joints. To be fair it doesn't seem like they are trying to be, they are bringing their own flavour/style to the halal burger scene.

For your money you do get a decent quality meat patty either 3oz, 6oz or 10oz, with a good quality brioche bun that holds the patty and fillings without disintegrating. Chips were thin and crispy and tasted very nice with in house mayo. Oreo milkshake was nice and had a decent quantity of ice cream (better than some higher end burger places).

It is small place with limited choices, not very much distinction between the burgers. Definitely eat here if you're in the area, otherwise not somewhere I'd travel very far for. This place is akin to Burger King flavour rather than...
