Thai Garden & kawaii sushi Catford — Restaurant in London

I ordered on their own website last night. The food was 40 mins late and when it did arrive, the sticky rice was a congealed hard lump. When I called to tell them this, they suggested adding water and microwaving it. The problem was, I think thats how they had heated it up and why it was so hard to begin with.

The Thai salad with dressing tasted off to be honest and the satay chicken was also dry, to the point of being inedible. The peanut sauce you pay and extra 35p for in order to have it with the supposedly satay chicken is a tiny portion, not even enough to cover 2 of the 4 chicken skewers. The green curry was alright but the chicken was tough.

They did offer me a free rice and dish fory next order but it was so bad, I'm not sure I'll take them up on the offer. I want some money back for the dishes that...

As someone said in the previous review, don’t always read the negative reviews, just try it for yourself and make your judgement. For me it’s the best Chinese food on the block. Just picked my order and had dinner with my mrs, we both were very happy. Ordered wonton soup, chicken corn soup, chowmein, fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, sweet and sour veggies, sweet and sour prawn, they were the best I’ve had for a long time. The price was good and the service was excellent and the guys were friendly. The only drawback for me personally was the distance I covered to pick it up as I live quite a distance away, traffic on A205 was dreadful but hey it was well worth the daunting traffic I’ve had to put up with. The food was just disgusting. 🤢🤮 This is by far the worst food I have eaten from a restaurant. The Green curry was watery and bland. The red curry was watery and bland. We also ordered wonton and lamb ribs it was just pure nastiness. Thinking about it makes me want to throw up we left the food and could not eat any more. This is not authentic Thailand food. The owner said they are from Iran and they could not make up their mind where the Chef was from. It should not matter where their from if they can still make good food.
