If you are looking for a place that offers authentic, freshly prepared Thai, then look no further. We stumbled across this place afew months back and now its a regular on our dining out schedule. The place might feel a little simple in its decor, but the food is anything but simple. The staff are warm, welcoming and offer great service. So glad we found the is place. If I had one negative, it’s the warmth of the restaurant. We were dining tonight, and thou not warm outside (July 1st), the aircom wasn’t working or on.

Thaidine is a hidden gem in Chislehurst, offering a quiet and private atmosphere with a warm, welcoming feel. The food is excellent, with the Cashew Chicken being a standout—perfectly cooked with tender chicken, crunchy cashews, and rich flavors. The service is friendly and attentive, making it a great spot for a relaxed, intimate meal. Highly recommend!

The food was really nice. We have been meaning to try it for a while but could not get the booking. The only reason for not giving 5 star was for the slow serving. We were there for 7pm but did not have any food near 8pm. I got bad reaction similar to what I got after eating MSG. I guess there might quite a lot of MSG in all dishes.

I've never left a review on a restaurant but I feel like I should this time after last night. Called up to make a small (2 people) order and the lady who I spoke to was incredibly rude over the phone almost shouting at me because I tried to read the Thai instead of the numbers, sorry for trying. Anyway she told me to collect in 50 minutes time, no problem. I arrived there 10 minutes early and I walked in and the lady who I spoke to on the phone (most senior employee) looked at me like in a Matilda movie or something and grunted "naaaaaaame?" . The lady proceeded to tell me how much it was and I got out my wallet .

"Are you paying cash?" She questioned "Is that ok? I can pay card if it's not..." I replied . "If you are paying with cash, it's 10% less" she stated. "Ummm...Ok I'll pay with cash then please..."I said.

I hand her the money and she short changes me 2 pounds and then doesn't even look at me and blurts out "NOT READY" .Which is understandable I was 10 minutes early. I told her I would wait in the car as she was already starting to irritate me.

Waited in the car for 20 minutes as at this point I wanted to get out of there with my food. So I stroll back in and I walk to the reception front desk area and there's three members of staff there chatting amongst themselves, one who is this lady who seems to hate me for some reason. After standing there for two or three minutes, not wanting to interrupt their important conversation (conversing in Thai very loudly), my best pal looks at me and snarls "..Not ready" then continues on with her discussion .

I figure it won't be too long so I wait by the front area and then eventually another member of staff ushers me to sit down, no problem!

Food eventually comes up and as it does I ask for the receipt as the woman short changed me, she even writes the receipt and I told her she short changed me 2 pounds but she got super defensive and I didn't really care about the money I just didnt want her to have it .I left, thanking them, as she was still blabbing on about it being my fault that I lost the two pounds, thinking in my head this is not worth it at all .

I ordered the steamed seabass which I will admit was delicious. However my mum ordered the soft shell crab and she said it was revolting and barely ate any, only eating her coconut steamed rice (also very good) . I tried some of this soft shell crab and yes it was vile, covered in batter and the crab tasted very very old.

Sorry Thai Dine but I will be actively avoided your place from now on, my mum recommended we eat there but she is now refusing to go there as well and keeps apologizing to me for suggesting that hole to eat in. Big shout out to the head of front house, for being a rude and impatient lady, lost the business of my family & friends...

My friend and I visited this restaurant on 28/12/2017 at 1830hrs. It was very quite when we got here possibly around 12 diners in total in the entire restaurant. We approached the hostess a middle age Asian lady and asked very politely if we could have a table as we did not previously book. She abruptly said "you book"?? to which we replied sorry we did not. She said you can sit here which was upstairs. Since I have been there in the past I asked would it be possible to sit downstairs as we saw there was only one couple dinning downstairs. She replied its all booked up. So we thought no worries. As the evening wore on we noticed a pattern by this hostess anyone who came in that was Caucasian, middle age was shown to tables downstairs. WE were able to hear everything she asked customers do you have a booking and then we watched what she did. Another black gentleman came in asked for a table she told him "sit upstairs", until his Caucasian friends joined him she promptly showed him to seats down stairs. Then another Asian couple came in she said "sit upstairs" or near the toilet downstairs. I have to say even through the food was tasty which we said the service was diabolical. I have never met such a rude, racist, argumentative hostess in London. it must be said she had a go at another patron with a child whist we were waiting to be serve, she was very loud and rude. To the owner of this establishment if you want people to come to your restaurant don't have such a racist hostess. WE are all people paying for the food and service stop discriminating based on skin...

Went here with a friend. We both ordered starters and then Pad Thai for our main meal. The starters were fine. My main came first and didn't look anything like Pad Thai as it had thin noodles, but thought maybe they'd run out. I started to eat it, but the food was quite tasteless and was warm, not hot.

We had to chase my friends meal that still hadn't arrived after a few minutes and it was quite difficult to attract someone's attention. No apology for her food not arriving. Eventually someone came back and said it was coming. When my friend's food finally arrived it looked nothing like mine. I asked why, when we'd both ordered the same dish that mine was so different. I was told I'd been given Pad Mee, and did I want the Pad Thai which I'd ordered. I said yes, so they took my dish away and brought my Pad Thai.

We have had this dish a few times before and enjoyed it, but this time it was very bland and there were no peanuts in the food, which it should have had. While I was sitting there I suddenly became very thirsty, so I assume they put MSG in the food, which I react to quite badly sometimes. I've never had a reaction before when eating there, so not sure whether they have a new chef or just had a different one that day. I drank 2 litres of water when I got home, but still had a really bad migraine the whole of the next day.

I definitely can't chance eating there again after such a bad reaction. Also their hygiene rating is only 2, obviously they don't have this displayed anywhere, which is a...
