Lovely old style quintessential English pub. Dark oak panels, light stained tables and a wonderful open fire with sofas. Different areas throughout: the pub, a restaurant area and the terrace, already with the Xmas decorations. Wooden floors and white ceiling with spotlights keeps it light and bright. However, interestingly, it is a newish pub just few years old. You would never thing that comfortably sitting on the sofa having a drink in front of the open fire! Starter of king prawns. Very well cooked, the chilli, garlic and lemon well balanced. Just a tad too oily. Sirloin as a main. Mushroom, cherry tomato, chunky chips. A prime cut of meat beautifully cooked. Chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream, simple but delicious and a fitting end to a good meal. All very well cooked and presented. As pub food goes, this one is up there with the best. Nice choice of background music, not too loud so you can actually maintain a conversation. Free parking in the area during the week after 5 is a bonus. In brief, good food in a cosy setting, well priced and the service is very good. Special mention to Sujin, he was great. Highly recommended.

Walking into a nice cosy pub, fire crakling away in the corner, mix of tables and chairs, stools, and benches, with some comfortable couches by the fire. Walking up to the bar, you are greeted by helpful, warm, and friendly staff. I got the roast lamb for the protein on my Sunday roast, and it was amazing. Everything was cooked perfectly and with great flavour. The portion was just right for me, and it was a reasonable price for the quality and portion size. Definitely earned a place in my top 5 pubs in West London for a Sunday roast. Look forward to going back to try the rest of the menu.

Eva made the evening. She was knowledge on all the available drinks and food, effortlessly reeled off lists, made great recommendations! She is a keeper in there for sure. Ambience is lovely and we will come back with more people to relax and enjoy a few drinks. First visit and we were impressed. People who live close to this pub are lucky ! We had: Nachos - lovely ! Slow cooked beef - wonderful ! Snitzel - my partner is Romanian and they know their way around this dish and he was very happy. Crispy, moist and delicious ! Mussels - perfect and they’re hard to get right !

I've always enjoyed eating at this Gastropub but as each visit passes my desire to return diminishes.

I checked their Sunday menu before booking and saw that they had Lamb Shanks on. I've had this here twice before and it has been excellent. However when the menu came to the table it was different to their online menu and shanks had been replaced by Lamb Rump.

The Lamb was ok but it was to rare for me and quite fatty. However overall the roast dinner was excellent.

Sadly twice in our last four visits we have been overcharged. Last time my partner and were charged for three dinners when we only had two (one each). This time we were just overcharged. Roast lamb was £16 somfor two were it should have been £32 but we were charged £37. We were told that it was an error due to the change from shanks to rump but looking at the menu for shanks that didn't add up.

I can only suggest you check your bills very carefully. I suspect it is possible everyone who had roast Lamb today may have been overcharged.

A nice little earner no doubt.

Finally when processing the credit card payment the first attempt failed and was voided. The waitresss left both the customer and the merchant copy of the cc receipt on the table. The merchant copy contains information that isn't on the customer copy and it is a breach of their agreement with the merchant not to retain and protest it.

Overall great food and a great atmosphere but...

The worse dining experience of my life.

The only thing I cannot fault with the Thatched House are the servers. Although the servers had NO CLUE about allergens and available plates for different allergies, they were lovely and tried to accommodate for us as much as possible.

This restaurant is not suitable for gluten-free diners what so ever. The only thing they can offer, is a burger with a gluten-free bun. Nothing else at all. The manager was awful. He refused to help us, and made an incredibly rude comment as we walked out the door, which is rich considering he looks like a Noel Gallagher tribute act, but there we go. My partner and I left the Thatched House and went somewhere else. I wouldn't even recommend this place to a child with no taste buds. It was awful! Even the wine tasted cheap, but at £28 a bottle, it certainly...
