The Only reason I’m giving 5 starts is because of a waiter called Michael,

I came here today wanting to leave a review because I was so impressed with Michael’s service. For someone just 18 years old, he is truly outstanding — professional, kind, and so warm and welcoming. I’ve even heard others say great things about him, and after being served by him I can see why. Michael is honestly the best waiter here, and he makes the dining experience 10x better with his positive energy and care. He really makes me proud of the young Black youth and how he carries himself with such excellence.

However, I was also deeply upset by another part of my experience. A waiter in a blue shirt was verbally rude, using vulgar language that was completely uncalled for. What concerned me most was that I could see how much it hurt Michael, to the point where he looked like he was tearing up — and no one from the staff stepped in to support or console him. That is not how anyone, especially someone working so hard and doing such a great job, should be treated.

I actually have a TikTok following of 50k, and I had intended to share a positive review there, but this incident made me hesitate. Still, I wanted to come here and make sure people know: if you come here, ask for Michael. He is a light, he is beautiful in the way he serves and treats people, and he deserves every bit of recognition for the great job he does. He is far too good to be working in a place where respect is not always shown to him.

Exceptional Experience at The Banc – Our New Local Favourite!

I recently visited The Banc in Enfield with my girlfriend for dinner, and from the moment we arrived, everything was absolutely outstanding. We were warmly welcomed at the door, which set the tone for a brilliant evening.

The service was impeccable – a solid 10/10. The waiting staff were attentive without being overbearing, regularly checking in on us and keeping our drinks topped up throughout the night. It genuinely felt like we were being looked after, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

The food was superb – both in taste and presentation. Every dish was beautifully plated and full of flavour. You can really tell the chefs take pride in their work.

A special mention to Ersan and James from management, who were incredibly friendly and professional. Their presence and attention to detail made a real difference and added a personal touch to the evening.

The atmosphere was lively and welcoming, with a live DJ playing great music that added to the overall vibe. It’s the perfect spot for a fun night out with delicious food and great company.

This will definitely be our new local favourite – we’re already looking forward to...
