This restaurant is hidden in the National Ballet building, so find it as it’s worth a visit!
It’s a brunch orientated place serving artisan food and coffee, the food was really good.
We were a two-top and our mine attraction was for the food. The menu looked really strong with a wide selection of options including vegetarian, for non-veggies, highly recommend the bacon, they have really taken the care to elevate it. When the food came, the quality reflected what it said on the menu so we were happy!
Service was superb, staff are super friendly and have a real relaxed vibe, which is great for a Sunday chill.
Only complaint is the coffee is abit on the expensive side, £3.30 for a small, £3.80 for a large, would be more likely to enjoy if it was closer to £3/3.50.
Had to sit outside as my dog wasn’t allowed inside and only stayed to eat and drink as it was good weather. So this would definitely influence my rating if the conditions aren’t as great on my next visit.
There is no parking options apart from the overpriced private parking which is not affiliated with the restaurant but the residential development, so if you are coming it eat here, realistically you should come by public...
Read moreTerrible experience today . The barista who used to be friendly has now decided she doesn’t want to serve people .
I took my friend who I wanted to show this lovely place . The woman serving seemed disinterested and didn’t seem wanted to say hello . My friend was new to the cafe so took his time with the order. She rolled her eyes and it was really upsetting . I asked her if she was tired, trying to engage with empathy but she was blunt and dismissive . My friend asked if halloumi was including in the sausage broiche bun . Again the reply was abrupt and rude. It seems this place has become hostile hence we were the only customers . After our coffee and bun was served by the much friendlier kitchen staff I went to get my coffee, the woman has a cigarette in her mouth - really appalled . At 3.50 , a lovely family walked in and she shouted we are closing in 10 minutes as the building is closing . At 3.55, my partner came in asking for a coffee, he was turned down . I have worked in coffee hospitality and I would never close before closing time ; it is seemed...
Read moreSinophobic, racist and extremely rude woman running this place (Laura if I’m not mistaken). I’ve come here quite a few times and and always have a friendly attitude toward her, however, she’s nothing but cold and her face drops the moment she saw my friend and I today and tbh I already do not feel welcomed even before today. However, today she totally crossed line when she yelled at my friend when she was the one who made a mistake and got my friend’s order wrong, exactly because of her bad attitude and could not even bother to get my friend’s order correctly. We’ve been nothing but friendly, and my friend merely asked whether that drink is for her, yet she yelled at my friend, rolled her eyes, and walked away without an apology. We left without interacting with her further, and I’m shocked at this unacceptable behaviour and will not support this place anymore. If you do not welcome Asian people, then you’ll not get our business. We note that one of the barista guy was nice but unfortunately this rude woman appears to...
