Delicious chips and beer. The service is bad. We waited 20 minutes for chips, there were no people in the bar. I went to inquire about my order, they forgot about it. Then I saw that the cook at the table was drinking beer instead of preparing the order. After the bartender reminded her about the potatoes, the cook finished her beer for another 5 minutes and then just went to cook. Half an hour later we ordered more potatoes and beer, they replied, “what the boss said: that we drank a lot and they won’t sell us any more beer,” but we only drank a few beers and everything was fine. When one of the visitors ordered food, the bartender took the order, the cook sat drinking beer outside and said “the kitchen is closed”, all this happened at 6 pm, there were still 4 hours before closing, and then the very angry cook went to prepare the food. A small brewery producing very drinkable beer.

The taproom, which is also the brewery, is open on Friday and Saturday evenings. I visited on a pleasant July Friday evening and was rather surprised that there were less than a dozen people there. I don't understand why there weren't more people. The beer was excellent and well priced, the staff were friendly and it is easy to get to, being just a short walk from both the West Silvertown DLR stop and the 474 bus stop.

There are 4 taps and when I visited there was a Milk Stout, Raspberry Wheat, Pale Ale and Milkshake Pale Ale. The Pale Ale was particularly good with a great aroma that carries through...

My partner and I recently had our engagement party at Husk Tap brewery in Canning Town and we had such a wonderful evening! We are locals and the owners always make us feel extremely welcome and the evening of our party was no different. The food, the drinks & the service were absolutely top notch, our guests had such a wonderful time. The beers and their burgers are amazing and my favorite drink, their signature lagerita hits the spot every time!
