The Dog & Duck — Restaurant in London

This is a really nice pub, good selection of drinks and the pizzas are really really good. Partner has had the Sunday roast a few times and it has been good. For me I like to go to a pub when I have a child minder for some me time with friends etc, unfortunately their is quite often a large amount of children in the pub and due to no fault of the pub some.of the kids are un controlled by parents and makes the experience quite annoying.. in the summer months we sat in the nice size beer garden and it felt like a school playground. If your looking to go to the pub with your children then this is tbe perfect place for you. But unfortunately I like some child free time when I have a sitter. I think their should be areas of the pub that are a child free zone for people who just want...

We have popped in for a meal and a pint, however I was quite disappointed. We have struggled to find a big table outside. 2 people sitting at table for 6 and another person at a big table so we ended up inside when there were 30 degrees outside. No one from the stuff actually bothered to ask if we need any help even though they were watching. Also the smell of piss was unbearable and the tables were very dirty. Secondly, you need to order everything at the bar and pay upfront otherwise they won't start cooking your food - honestly never seen or heard of such thing. The lady that brought the food to our table seemed to be so annoyed that she was actually working, no smile, no greeting, nothing, basically just threw the plates on the table. Really love the Dog and Duck. Have been coming here since I moved to Walthamstow several years ago. The pizza is great, the outdoor space is fantastic. However, the three stars is for the Euros 2021… you cannot as a business advertise you’re showing the Euros and then have one screen with Sky and the others with aerials! The 4-5sec delays means the pub is watching two different games, killing all anticipation for the action. So disappointed in you guys... The cost to cover multiple screens of Sky Sports for the tournament would have been covered by a few of the tables’ tabs on one night. We left along with several other tables at half time.
