(D) ------ Previous feedback ----- Fantastic local boozer... Zoe is a great host, very welcoming Down to earth proper homely pub with a big local following in the community. Got to mention the cat they are looking after... Tom !! He Strayed in one day and made its self at home... 😻 Zoe has a big heart and feeds and looks after him... But he lives just over the road. Great place to meet and relax.

Lovely friendly local pub very popular with tradesmen and very dog friendly! George, the parrot, was very chatty. Enjoyed their quiz, which is every 2 weeks on a Thursday. I love the fact that we got a £10 bar for tab for 3rd place. They have karaoke every Tuesday and mixed entertainment on weekends. The pub itself is a little dated but is slowly having works to improve and make it more modern.

What a wonderful pub. It was fairly quiet when we were there but had a great chat with both the Guvnor and her daughter who have been running this pub for quite some time. The is quite a bit of space to move around in with a bar running parallel to the front of the building. There is outside seating down the side of the pub, but don't forget to say hello to their resident cockatoo as you go out. The Guinness was excellent as was the Courage...

If a group of American Tourists turned up in a coach party I think they would be shocked. This is an old style boozer from the 1970's or early 1980's. If you are looking to connect with characters out of "Only Fools & Horses" this is your go to pub.
