A wonderful and intimate wine bar.

Interesting selection of wines. The food menu is curt and surprisingly superlative. Don't miss the cabbage dolma balls. They were exceptional. The passion fruit cheesecake a surprising delight. And a chicken schitnzel that undermines the whole case for Brexit.

They even make an excellent Negroni.

There was one guy managing the whole front of house/waiting on tables and he was quite frankly excellent. Pirouetting around like someone truly in their element. Tending to everyone quickly and efficiently whilst being so friendly and helpful.

I think I might have had an unrealistic expectation....based off reviews I thought "wow this must be some of the best food in our area". First up, the service was brilliant and the wine was good... Our food was ok but not great. Pardon peppers were well seasoned and we'll cooked. Buratta was ok - good quality but one dimensional favours and over priced. Mussels were cooked well but the sauce was average and lacking any real punch. Boquerenos were good quality but that is not a difficult task... This place is a gem. I almost don't want people to find out about it because it will then get very hard to make a booking!!! But seriously, great local spot that opened late summer 2020. Really good selection of natural wines and the food was delicious. If you're familiar with Jolene/Primeur/Western Laundry - it's got those kind of vibes (but more of a Nook ;) than a big restaurant!). All this at a reasonable price point and with a lovely couple who own it! Highly recommend! Go out and spend money to help local...
