two stars for the food and speed of service, fish and chips were fine though mine was a bit soggy and the chocolate brownie could have been heated, no stars for the arrogance of some of the staff and lack of heaters. They have one in the outdoor garden area and the undercover section has heaters. I had called up to check on the heating as was told the garden was fully heated. It isn't! Their seating policy is based on what they feel like, we were seated away from the heater and I asked if we could be near the heater (empty tables all round), i was told that the staff allocate seating, I said if that is the case then we can sit near the heater - I was reluctantly told I could. No one came to use the table we were on or the previous table. As I got to the end of my wine I noticed I had sugar crystallised and stuck onto the bottom of the glass. I pointed this out to the staff and was told they could do nothing about it as I had drunk from the glass. I pointed out they had given me a dirty glass to start with as the sugar was stuck onto the glass, again I was told they could do nothing - I suggested cleaning their glasses properly and was told pompously that the glasses go through a dishwasher - all I wanted was an apology from having to drink from a contaminated glass during a pandemic not a free drink! A real shame their arrogance ruined a pleasant evening - some of the staff were...

DUTY MANAGER IN THIS PLACE NEEDS A REFRESHER TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE HE CERTAINLY NEEDS TO LEARN HOW TO APPROACH A CUSTOMER. I HAD THE MOST BAD EXPERIENCE YESTERDAY I DID A BOOKING FROM THERE USELESS APP WHICH APPARENTLY IS NOT A BOOKING YET THEY GIVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO A CUSTOMER TO PRE BOOK THREE DAYS IN ADVANCE SELECT YOUR TABLE AND TAKE THE MONEY STRAIGHT AWAY... SO WHEN I ENDED UP GOING THERE THE SO CALLED MANAGER SAID I DONT HAVE A BOOKING OR A TABLE I SHOWED HIM MY CONFIRMATION EMAIL BUT HE STILL DID NOT BUDGE.. INSTEAD OF EXPLAINING TO ME HE WAS SHOWING ATTITUDE TO ME... BUT THE FUNNY THING WAS THIS MANAGER LITRALLY CALLED ME 2MIN BEFORE I ARRIVED TO ASK ME WHERE I'M I AS MY DRINK R READY... WHEN I SHOWED HIM THAT HE HAD CALLED ME HE JUST COMPLETELY IGNORED ME N CARRIED ON TALKING. ANYWAY LONG STORY SHORT WHOEVER IS THE OWNER OF THIS PUB PLEASE RE CONSIDER YOUR MANAGER AS BECAUSE OF HIM YOU GUYS LOST £100 FROM ME AS I SPENT IT SOMEWHERE ELSE WHICH WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING... SPECIALLY IN THIS PANDAMIC WHERE PUBS ARE CLOSING YOU WILL NEED AS MANY CUSTOMER AS...

My sister and I went for an early supper, I pre booked. Initially we greeted by a charming member of staff, who explained the app ordering system etc. Another person showed us to our table. The table was high with stools, I asked if we could be seated somewhere else. His inital response was how long do you think are going to be here, because they had a quiz night. Wow, I was shocked and disappointed, since my booking was from 6.30 pm to 8pm. I tried to explain that we were there to eat and have a few drinks, as well as that my sister is Autistic with learning disabilities, so she would find the table awkward and uncomfortable. He rudely interrupted and said he would try and find another table. Eventually we were seated at another table. Instead of ordering a bottle of wine, we just had two glasses of wine and our meals. I was keen to leave asap. If I had not been with my sister, I would have left before being seated. However, it would have been too distressing for her. Unfortunately, it very much felt that our faces did not fit at the Railway, so I'm...

COSY WINTER PUB AND VIBEY BEER GARDEN! A lovely little pub tucked away near Streatham station, full of fairy lights and charm. It’s wonderfully warm inside, making it perfect for a cosy winter midweek pint. The crowd is friendly and easygoing, and the décor has that classic, slightly quirky British pub feel done really well. There’s also a great beer garden out back that’ll be ideal once summer rolls around. It’s the kind of spot that works just as well for a quiet catch-up with friends as it does for a low-key date. The staff on this visit seemed a bit unsure behind the bar and needed a bit of teamwork (ours included) to get the drinks sorted, but we got there in the end.

Without question the worst pub food in London. A year ago I ordered the bangers and mash which strangely arrived 2 minutes after ordering - it was clearly old food thrown in the microwave and was inedible. Maybe it was an off day I thought so decided to give them a second chance a year later - this time ordered the croquettes and pita bread and hummus. Again, arrived in approximately 2 minutes - enough time for the microwave to do its thing. The croquettes looked like they were veg fingers from Lidl and the pita bread was stale AND burnt! The hummus was dry and tasteless. Do not eat here, you will regret it.

Popped in for Sunday dinner and honestly, the food was fantastic! We started with the croquettes and the sausage with black pudding roll—both were so tasty and a definite must-try. It’s one of those places that works for anything—whether you're after a quick bite, sharing a few plates with mates over drinks, or just want a really lovely dinner. The vibe is great and the food won’t disappoint. Highly recommend giving it a go!
