The Station Pantry — Restaurant in London

Ok so not the best experience for first time visitors to here. We went in and were seated quickly and staff were friendly. But after that it all went wrong for us.

It started with no menu and we having to ask how we order and see the menu.

We ordered our food, then 30min later after everyone else had been served even people who came later then us. We asked the waitress where our food was. She had said she had forgotten to place it and asked again what we want. I was really annoyed. She apologized and said we will be next. Another 15min later after 3 other people had recieved their food we finally got ours.

No help with the door when entering the restaurant with a buggy - in fact felt watched as I struggled through. There were only two other customers in there yet we waited 25-30 mins for food which really wasn’t as nice as we expected. The kids ordered a ham sandwich - but no crisps came at the side? The orders weren’t all correct - but we were hungry so just went with it. The bagel didn’t look cooked and when asked if it was, the waitress was extremely abrupt when stating that “yes it definitely had been” (despite being almost bread). One of the waitresses was rude yet the younger one was extremely kind and friendly to children - which is what the 1 star is for! We recently held a private party at The Station Pantry and can't praise it and the staff enough! From booking through to the end of the night, the team looked after us with ease. Nothing was too much trouble and despite being rushed off their feet, they were the most friendly, happy bunch!

The venue is modern, clean and tidy with great facilities. We used it for a surprise birthday party and it suited us perfectly. Well situated by the train station with outside seating and a good drinks menu we will definitely come again!! Chantel and the team really made our night xxxx thanks...
