The Vine — Restaurant in London

I went here I thought it wouleld be a nice trust worthy place to go. I was very wrong! They started off "friendly" and then I decided to go to the bathroom before I left I checked where the level of my drink was to know if I should get another. My drink was at least half way so I knew I wouldn't have to bother with another . I went to the loo ad when I returned my lager had been taken a half pint of San Miguel may I say. When I went to the bar to make my claim the boy thee said only foam was left in the class and that's why they removed it I emphasised that glass had been a least half full and they refused to recognize, I spoke to a lady there.before I left and asked her for the details of the pub she told me it was the vine inn, and that is why I am writing this review. In my opinion thieves work there as they stole my drink before I had finished it solely to get more money. Because they thought I'd be stupid enough to buy wihthem another drink after they stole my half pint! I kindly asked for the name of their "pub" and left. Its all very nice on the outside but looks can deceive and I really did think it was going to be q nice place to have a drink. Attended a work Christmas meal. After our experience I'd recommend it and will be returning to catch up with friends local to 'The Vine Inn'.

The car park was accessible from the main road which made parking easy. The area outside was clean and litter free so immediately made a good impression for me. There were spaces available out front so I assumed it was quite inside but it was quite busy, so happily surprised. Inside the building looks modern, clean and welcoming. The furniture, furnishings and layout looked really impressive. I loved the wallpapers, especially in the ladies wc! The manager and team were friendly and chilled. All our orders were taken and delivered promptly. They were also really patient with us leaving, it took a while getting a group of 30 to move out into the cold but we got there eventually. Ordered the nachos, the patatas bravas and the halloumi. When the nachos came, there was just sauce and cheese on it. The sauce was not even salsa but more like a tomato sauce. They did not add cheese sauce or sour cream and when I asked, they said the didn’t have any. I said that if I had known, I would not have ordered it. He then came out with a small bowl of sour cream but there was still no cheese sauce. The patatas bravas was the same, just tomato sauce but no garlic and chilli. Halloumi was okay and no issues. I then ended up having food poisoning from this place as this is all I ate on Friday except toast for breakfast and I had been throwing up...
